Hi! New here! I just found your videos yesterday. I am currently finishing school, doing a major career change from healthcare to elementary education in my mid thirties. I am NERVOUS and excited. Your videos are such a blessing for people like me. I appreciate how real and honest you are and I love your organization. Thank you for sharing your life with us!
I had the same experience in 2019... taught 3rd grade, my class had 11 boys and 6 girls. Small class but the boys had extremely challenging behaviors all year long. I too broke down after a difficult day and ended up going home early. Teaching is hard but you're doing an incredible job. Kudos to you for pushing through!
Teaching IS hard girl!! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 I’m only in my 2nd year of being a music teacher & I teach across across grade levels… STRESSFUL. I always say that teaching is a literal SKILLSET, damn near an art form in itself 🤷🏾♀️ We as teachers can only do so much to get through to a student & if the discipline is low at home, then that is also brought to school.
Just found your videos. Love it. I'm also a 3rd grade teacher, with 19 years under my belt in this grade. Oh, I'm in South Africa. Our education system differs, but I love the ideas you supply.
Hi Kristen 😊I recently found your channel and absolutely love it! Love the long vlogs!! Also, your classroom is decorated so beautifully. I will be starting college for my ECE bachelors soon and your videos give such a genuine outlook on teaching. Thank you for making content 💕 I know it takes a lot of work and courage.
Hi you are such a fun teacher your so good at your job i love your videos and i have watched your videos multiple times and you are awesome thank you so much for making these videos!
Hi, I love watching your videos!!! 🙂 I taught kindergarten for 7 years and this is my first year teaching 3rd. I wasn’t sure I would be able to do centers/stations with my students at first because they were older but we found a way that worked best for us. 🙂 I start off by introducing the center and model how I want them to do it from start to finish. I gradually add more centers as needed. While I was in k one of my teammates told me about an extra center she had called the timeout zone. That center was reserved for students who needed a moment to remember the expectations. I hope this helps. Again I love your videos. They show how passionate you are about teaching. 🤍✨
Hi! I sure hope things look up. I teach first grade this year. Teaching is definitely a difficult career, even after teaching 20 years, but I can see you are putting your heart and soul into it. Thank you for being there for your students. On a side note, do you happen to have the accordion file linked in your storefront?
I can't wait to become an elementary school teacher! Did you get a bachelor's degree in education? What college did you go too? We're the classes manageable? What are some tips and tricks? What should I start on for preparing myself? I am going to start my career after i finish in active-duty navy.
Yes! Bachelor's in Education and the classes weren't bad! Didn't fully prepare you for the classroom necessarily but nothing really can until you're actually in it!
I was thinking this today. Kids listened to their teachers when I was in school. There were behaviors here and there, but nothing like what I’m seeing. It’s hard and I wonder if it’s going to get better or if I might end up leaving the field.
Hi I’ve only watched 2 of your videos and I’m 8 and I really want to be a teacher when I am older but I want to have my classroom set out just like yours I love you what country do you live in.😊

Don’t feel bad, I broke down and cried after school one day a few weeks ago. We are human and we can only handle so much! ❤

I have had a difficult year as well. The kids don’t listen and run around like a zoo. I have cried in front of them as well.
Have you tried better disipline tactics?

Hi. Can you share the math game where the students match the pairs to add or subtract?
Remember, every day is a chance to do better.
