I suggest two improvements. Link the motors to the micro so that you can program it to always put the can right on the trapdoor. As it is right now, user error can make no can drop. Additionally add a sensor to the bottom to check if anything dropped so the money is not completely lost in that case. Anyway this is an amazing build all around. The engineering is top notch.
As a vending machine owner this is very cool, great coin mechanism, very creative especially considering you only used Lego. Also very cool drink dispenser mechanism, very original. Such a great build.
Great LEGO machine! I still use that same coin mechanism for my functional (fully LEGO) LEGO Pinball Machines! You should try building one! Its really fun!!! (Seriously, do it!!) Thanks for video XD
Great build, your coin filter will treat dollar coins as quarters so be careful. Also two sloping rails for the cans to ride down might help with the explosion issue. 😉😉😉
Love it! would be cooler if you couldn't jip the system by either wriggling your finger in there to set off the system or just covering the coin input and output (cause it appears as through the only light for the detector is from the outside). thats an easy fix, though. just make a slide below the quarter thing that creates a barrier between the coin output and the quarter tester, and add a laser or something iside it for the light detector(unless there already is one and we didnt see it in the video)
you could add a ramp to the soda drop so that there's only that initial smack at the top of the gap which shouldn't shack the can up too much, and then just add a small blocker at the end of the ramp to keep it in place, that way you don't need to have a towel there.
I remember watching Lego vending machine videos when TH-cam was just getting started, it's great to see how far that's come, you've got my sub. One suggestion that I could make is, it seems you have plenty of unused vertical space, so maybe you could raise the whole thing up a few bricks and add a few shock absorbers and a lip to the landing plate. If you did that, it would also allow for a force sensor to detect if something dropped onto the plate after the dispense button was pressed.
This is wonderful.Clever engineering and programming. This guy needs to be in the innovation department of a high tech engineering company. Superb that you solved all of the initial strength flaws.
see what you could do is modify the landing pad with more pieces to guide the soda down smoothly and something like a small stopper at the bottom to prevent it from falling out, if you can make spinning contraption that holds all the sodas perfectly snug in place without them coming out, you can make one more exact piece and place it down at the dispensing area so it'll land perfectly snug at the bottom to be grabbed
"Ooh sodas!" "Lemme just.. Wait i don't have quarters on me" "Hmmm.." **Looks side to side suspiciously** **slowy pulls orange lego brick separator out of pocket**
I looked at his timer think in the background and see it started from 0 to 10 hours and 38 minutes. This dude really has the patience for this. Love the videos.
dude that was amazing! I really loved how it fit so nicely in the fridge! i think you should take it somewhere public and let the people get some drinks!
You are insane dude. I've been watching your videos for a long time and always being surprised what you did. Every building way more creative than before. Keep going. All the best.
Next, You should make a life size Lego Xbox or PlayStation Controller. You could also consider making a Lego PC That actually works. Also I love your videos man, They make me smile!
Very cool! Is it possible to purchase one and immediately when it drops, turn the soda holder so that another one slides over the hole and drops another one for free?
I really hurt my back in the first 10 seconds, so I had to take a week off haha. But I’m better now!
Lift with your legs, not your back 😂
Next time...
"okay guys today we're building a back brace!"
Hope you are doing good!

Wow this just shows your commitment to the Channel 🫡 respect. Awesome and new subscriber 👍
@@JunitroYT22 stop spamming, and a working lego helicopter just isnt possible with the current legos we have

i would also add a home sensors so you can just press the button to switch sodas instead of press and hold.
Coolness isn’t even a word
I'd also add a locking mechanisim to the drawer so nobody can take the money
The effort put into this is phenomenal!! This is epic 😮
Thank yew!!

Man built the best LEGO soda machine on TH-cam, in just a little over 10 hours. Wow!
🙏 That means a lot coming from you!!
My inspiration for vending machines.
It took me 36 hours to make the Ferrari 488 GTE #af course 51 and he can make a whole vending machine in 10 hours!
@astonishingstudios why haven’t been posting?
@@Brick_ScienceI love you
It’s the one and only vending machine god
I've definitely felt your pain with not noticing printed pieces until it's too late lol
But the final product was just incredible! 🤩
nice
Agreed.

I literally love this video, it's my favorite you've ever done! 🤯 Amazing mechanical work, Riley!
me to
Impressive work! To prevent the cans from exploding but still keeping it Lego you could add rubber tiers in the bottom to cushion the fall.
Genius invention...liked the use of the metal axle :)
next he's gonna build life-sized version of himself that moves, talks, eats, eventualy commit murder and start the robot uprising...
Bruh
Genius!
U meen a Lego uprising
A bite dark but o
He already did this, the guy in the video is the robot
That is one of your best Lego builds you have ever done! Great video!
Ur a awesome yt

Violent idea but that would be cool.

This is wonderful.Clever engineering and programming. This guy needs to be in the innovation department of a high tech engineering company.
Superb that you solved all of the initial strength flaws.
He is similar to a person who knows everything about redstone
Great build I would ad a system so that the can would randomly get stuck like the real one

To make the window better, you could use the 6 wide Lego windows instead of the 2 wide windows. That would make the window much clearer.

you should upgrade it by adding a refilling system where the cans at the top drop down into the empty spot where the soda can just fell.
Very cool! Is it possible to purchase one and immediately when it drops, turn the soda holder so that another one slides over the hole and drops another one for free?

Hi Brick science you’re my favorite TH-camr and my inspiration to try new things in Lego
