Plz tell me what is class interval and in thumb rule you took class interval for 100 or less 7-10 for 101-200 11-15 etc.how to select these class interval

Good question,
We use the class interval is an interval in which we collect the data when we have a large number of observations to make it easy to collect data and to construct a histogram.
According to prof. Struge the number of class intervals equal to 1+log(n), where the 'n' is the number of observations.
We use thumb rule for simplification.
