My sincere thanks to you for your appreciation for our hard work in making a wild bamboo into a cultivable crop by our meticulous improvement in bamboo 😊😊
I've recommended this to several videos during covid and also to the Delhi govt when cries were heard during air pollution. But majority of that fell on DEAF EARS
Bamboo roots and seeds need to be added to every reforestation campaign in India like Gravis and PAANI foundation. It grows super fast, provides shade, holds groundwater and is building material for the millions that need it in India
To all my viewers and farmers, This video has some audio issues after 40 minutes. This is our mistake and we are rectifying it and reposting that part of the video as a separate video. I know Dr Bharathi since 2020. He is a Microbiologist, well known person in Bamboo world across the globe and researching on bamboo in all means. He is a Moving, Live Encyclopedia of Bamboo. Man of action. Down to Earth gentleman. Raghu Ram Agronomist Sampada Farms & Consultants
Good podcast. Most of the opportunities shown were practically not possible. Otherwise everyone would have been behind bamboo. He should also provide details on risks with this cultivation. Many Bheema cultivations got failed even with good management practices. This should get discussed in your part2 video.
Sir, If you start babmboo as social forestry, it grows great. Has fantastic utility. But, You need to: 1. Mechanise harvesting/ bamboo cutting 2. Very robust plan for controlling snake infestation.
Yes I agree with you. The harvesting for large scale Cultivation is by machine, similar to sugarcane harvesting. Snake is not a problem in Non Thorny Bamboo. Snake is found in Thorny Bamboo like Bambusa Bamboos and not in Balcooa, Tulda, Nutans etc
Mechanical harvest has been developed for Beema bamboo based energy plantation. Snakes are found in Thorny Bamboo species. BEEMA BAMBOO is thornless and NO SNAKES
You are doing such a good job for the farmers, the country and the environment Dear Abhinav. This one particularly useful. Prof Bharathi deserves gratitude of the people for researching and coming up with such a good model. More commendable is spirit of Prof Bharathi to share the knowledge

Very informative video Bamboo forming Bharat ke kisan ne karni hai aur wo jyada padha likha nahi hai vidio ke last me is video ki brief summary hindi me add ho jae to is video ki value badh jayegi
Okay It has been considered and Govt of India has passed orders for replacing coal in the thermal power plant by 5 % which amounts to 620 lak tons of biomass pellets every year. This means we should have had bamboo in over 15 lakh acres under cultivation, if the yield of dry bamboo is 40 tons per acre. Very huge UNTAPPED potential in the Coal segment.
You're doing a fantastic job! I have a quick question: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). Could you explain how to move them to Binance?
I am from Maharashtra and near the Balaghat Range. The mountains are dried during the summer. Can it possible cultivate Bamboo for reduce carbon emissions and beautification of the range ?
Bharati garu marketing bamboo plants in the name of bheema bamboo tissue culture plants which is improved balcoa he said and famers suffering from facing growing these plants flowering in early stage of plantation
I agree with the flowering of Beema bamboo in early or even later stages. This is due to stress to plants due to shortage of water, high heat, nutrients deficiency, pest attack - mealy bugs, nematode. I have done research on the flowering for the last 4 years and found that it could be reversed to normal, once the plant is taken care. You can visit our Biotech centre to witness this.
Very much information I could get... But some products are not feasible in the rates he quoted. (eg. Pellets... NTPC is demanding it for Rs 6 instead of 9.4, through their tenders... at their plant gate.) But still l could get some additional information about bamboo products. Thank to you and your team🙏👍
Nothing to offend or oppose but I have seen a video of Dr Raja Ram Tripathi where he is saying that he doesn’t have a buyer for his bamboos. So in my view let these proposal became financial model successful & then automatically many guys will adopt this method.
Yes😊 A well grown Beema Bamboo produces 10 new culm/ stems every year which weighs 250 kgs. This has sequester 450 kgs of CO2 in a year and released 320 kgs of oxygen, sufficient for one person's breathing requirement of 280 kgs avg per year. - Barathi
Cost of harvesting and transporting Bamboo is very high - as much as Rs. 3,000/- per Tonne. So the recovery is only Rs.2,000/- Hence, better economic study is required.
Can you please do video on how much biogas can be processed using super Napier grass per acre type of Napier etc. and how much electricity can we generate from one acre of Napier to biogas to electricity
How can get the money for carbon credit? Can you please help in this regards? By burning of bamboo produces harmful gas to all, so from ancient time bamboo is not burn. It may be used in another way.
🙏✋👋Please ask about reverse breathing( inhaling oxigen & breathing out carbon dioxide) of this Bamboo plant during night time. Which helps to plant as indoor/ dence cultivation around house too...
I have planted 3.5 Acres of Beema Bamboo. The planting density suggested by Dr Bharati was 10 Ft X 4ft. I planted 3 years back. Please be careful. There is issue with flowering. The plants die after flowering. The spacing suggested is very high. By this there is competition among the plants. Marketing is a problem. Please plant a very small area and observe. Be prepared for no marketing support. I planted 3,500 plants. About 1000 plants died because of flowering. The remaining will mature in another 3 years. That's the reality. You might get Rs 4,500 per ton. Please approach Bamboo Society of India or any Government Forestry College for advise. Private plant suppliers don't give the correct picture for obvious reasons.
Yes, If you don't irrigate and stop feeding them with NPK fertilizer and also if you don't harvest the matured bamboo, the carbon sequestration starts declining and ultimately it will Stop .
Why not Delhi government planting bamboo for protection of environment and take care of Delhi people? In every city, in open space of colony area some bamboo are planted?
You can cultivate Beema Bamboo in red soil, clay soil, alluvial soil, Sandy soil, laterite soil, almost all soils, including sodic soil and mine dumps. They only care about tree planting because that draws more global attention. All the arid regions need more fast growers
like bamboo
Bamboo roots and seeds need to be added to every reforestation campaign in India like Gravis and PAANI foundation.
