Lee you have changed my opinion on pit bulls. You glow with sooo much love on rescue days thanks for sharing the love with all of us. We love you also!!!
Yes. He shows people that if you aren't afraid, they respond most lovingly. It's people's energy that dog's respond to and nervousness makes them nervous. However, when I was 19 (not afraid at all of these 2 big goofy/grinning dogs), I was sitting on the floor at a friend's house where I had been petting their 2 pit bulls and they were happy and loving it and then one growled while it snapped at my face when it was walked by. I was just talking and did nothing provocative. Felt the air of his breath and scared the crap out of me as I jumped back and yelled. My friend put him outside but the incident changed my behavior around unknown pits and dogs in general and I am a dog lover. Most dogs sense that I am a sucker for their love loves and so I have great interactions with them but I won't be eye level again with strange dogs if I can help it. Peace
@@riverlove6820I believe those types of strong breeds sense their own power. And a lot of people get them because they are powerful and protective. Good watchdogs. I believe any dog like that should be well-socialized and it should receive some training if the owners are going to allow it to be around their guests. But MANY people do not do that. The owners think that because they are present, the dog won't bite anyone. And maybe they've never witnessed that side of their dog before. Dog owners can be clueless. My family had a wonderful dog, not a pitbull, but he was part Chow. He was gorgeous! But he only knew our family members. No one mistreated him or anything. I would pet him and "love on him" for hours. And he loved me, too. BUT, don't let a stranger into our yard. He also would have surely bit someone visiting our home. He was not "socialized" at all. We should have actively socialized him from the time we got him as a pup. I think of him all the time and wish our family knew what I learned after I grew up and what I know today.
I really started loving pitbulls when my friends got theirs and when I watched lots of online videos about them. They have unique qualities and can really bond with their owners. Their facial expressions often look they are "in deep thought." 🙂 Pitbulls are so special, and most of their problems are because of people who want a strong dog, but do not take the time to rear them properly. It's not just what people do to them, it's also what they "fail to do." I live between two pitbull dogs, a male on one side, a female on the other side. From what I can tell by observing them, they were not raised to be mean dogs. I look at them lovingly and wish I could just go out and hug them, but I would NEVER approach them, even with their owners standing nearby. Instead, it would take a good amount of time to "slowly" develop a relationship with them, gain their trust and have them really accept me.
We need one of you, Lee Asher, in every county, of every state! So sad what is happening everywhere with the abandoned, surrendered, homeless dogs....I see it all around me here in South Florida. Backyard breeders are illegally selling to all the good adopters while shelter dogs are being put down, so sad. Wish we could change some laws, or even better enforce the ones we have... I've tried, but unfortunately, not getting a response from legislators, guess they don't care.😢😢 It's more important to ban books & fight with Disney, rather than caring about living, breathing animals that are just struggling to survive! Thank you so much for what you do! Love watching these rescue videos, they give me hope! 🐶🐶😻😻💖💖
"Don't give up- your life is just beginning".... Really choked me up after what these beautiful dogs just went through. Lee Asher- you and all your helpers are true angels. Love from Austria 🥰🥰🥰

I love your advice to the pit bull “ don’t give up “ . I know you won’t ♥️
❤❤ thank you for saving all these sweethearts ❤❤
What a wonderful thing you do. In a world with so much hate and evil it’s so heartwarming to know that organizations and people like you can show others that there is still love and compassion in this world. We need so much more! All it takes is one person at a time
Lee you have changed my opinion on pit bulls.
Their facial expressions often look they are "in deep thought." 🙂
Pitbulls are so special, and most of their problems are because of people who want a strong dog, but do not take the time to rear them properly. It's not just what people do to them, it's also what they "fail to do."
I live between two pitbull dogs, a male on one side, a female on the other side.
The best day ever I am so happy love you ❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you Lee for each and every rescue!!!!!!!!!
You make me so happy watching you rescue the innocent dogs.God bless all of you for your kindness.
Amen 🌼
These were some really appreciative pups🎉
Every day is rescue day! And is joy day!
We need some die-hard pet-loving "leaders" in this country.
Rescue day!!!!❤❤❤❤
