Kudos on your as-yet unmatched clarity in & simplicity of signal routing explanation. This is what modular & semi-modular tutorials should aspire to be.
Glad I just found your channel, had Behringer for a year and not got to grips with it and it stayed under a dust blanket unloved. I was looking how to get the sound going again, as I forget which sliders to move to get sound via midi, and at the time looking at Ralphs set up default for sound, I then spotted your channel at the side. Well over 8 and half minutes of fantastic learning, I am starting to love the 2600 again. Many thanks for your awesome video.
Good to hear! I hope you stick with it, and with the tutorials. By the time you work your way through Tutorial 2, Part 2, you will have a much deeper understanding of your 2600. Enjoy!
Thanks for the comment, Benjamin. I'm nearing completion on Tutorial 2. Maybe in another week? It's been a real slog ... but it will hopefully be worth the wait. Your encouragement is much appreciated.
100% agreed. This is extremely helpful. My only minor criticism: The graphics and texts could be a little larger; there is unused screen space on each side.
Very informative.. Last night was my first night with the Behringer 2600.. This knowledge, brought in 8 minutes wouldn've saved me a lot of searching.. (but it was fun anyway..). Btw.. beatiful patch.. incredible how it's produced in only one take..
Thanks for taking the time to comment. It's much appreciated. The 2600 is a deep synth that takes time to learn and appreciate. Working through tutorial 2 (both parts) -- not just watching, but literally doing on your 2600 what is being shown in the videos -- will save you months of trial and error. Enjoy!
I just got my B2600 a few days ago. Your videos have been extremely helpful for this synth noob. There should be links in the official quick start guide to this channel!
Glad they've been helpful, Bill. And thank you for taking the time to comment. It's appreciated. Learning something like this is a process. I highly recommend you download a PDF of the original ARP 2600 manual (easy to find via Google Search). There's a great 20 page section in it that talks about [semi-]modular synthesis in general, beginner-friendly terms. And the remainder of the manual's ARP 2600 specific content is (usually) applicable to the Behringer 2600.
Finally one useful tutorial. One could say, it's obvious but not for all and specially for the beginners or just for new to this gear. Many thanks for sharing and for the music - it was really OK :-) BTW my B_ARP is on the way... Best Regards
Ok, so I've been looking at the Behringer 2600 for some time and thinking that'll get confusing very quickly... but then you have to start somewhere with modular synthesis. The 2600 is as good a place to start as anywhere with a pre-wired setup and much of the patch-ability of modular. This presentation is excellent in clearly explaining the 'ins and outs', pun intended, of the 2600... and so am I clearer? Nope, not yet... but it's a start, thank you.

Glad you found it helpful, Kirstin. I do want to publish a PDF ... but I want to "do it right the first time" and am still undecided on what "right" is for this wonderful synth - i.e., how deep do I go, and what format(s) should I use to present the information. I've noted yours and Jens' interest and hope that, eventually, I can meet your expectations.
Thanks. It's not available at this time, but I will probably release it in PDF format when I have a few more to go with it. In the meantime, I just added an index to the various sections in the video description.
Excellent presentation! THANKS!!! (I'm sub'ing.) Beautiful graphics... VERY informative... I appreciate the demarcation on the time line; let's me know in advance if I'm gonna need to PAUSE to spend more time on a segment. I could've done without the music, but I didn't hate it. As for having a voiceover? I think I would've liked that. Overall, I'm giving it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 1/2 !!!
Printable documentation covering the prewired connections is now available (as of February 7th, 2022) here: 24x7arts.gumroad.com/l/pzvjw
thanks, mate,. Really helped.
Lovely,lovely presentation.
Looking forward to the rest of the series.

Thank you. Tutorial #2 should be out next week (possibly sooner).
On top of a fantastic video, what a lovely little tune!
Thanks, Josh.
lovely indeed. Out of curiosity, waa the music made with a B2600?
by far the most clear series for learning the 2600!

We’re the patches used in the soundtrack made with a b2600?
Yes. See 00:17.
Thank you! 🙏
