Thank you for your honesty , this is Henry the owner and inventor of Fierce Reflex. I like your video plus the way you set it up. Here's a tip for you , if you want to do away with some of that knocking sound please remove the spring then at the bottom put some boxing tape around the bottom portion , then put the spring back inside the base and you'll limit the noise. We recently added a cap to prevent the noise. Thanks again . Make sure you do not over tighten the knob when adjusting the height. We also change our knob for that reason. Enjoy !!!
Hey Henry, I was just looking at ordering one off of your site. So if I was to order one now then I would be receiving one that has the cap added to prevent the noise? I live in an apartment building and was planning to use this within my own apartment. Is this a good idea or no? Where I am we are pretty much in lock down if you are not vaccinated which I am not so I am not able to go to any of the usual local faciltiies to train so I was thinking it would be very good for me to have this tool. Please get back to me if you see this because I am on the verge of ordering it as I type this I just need confirmation.
@@eduardooliva3909 I spent just around $100. The most expensive thing is the spring at $50 and the rest is pretty cheap. The metal pipe cost $20 and also the wood. If you have a piece of wood you can save even more.
I really regret not waiting and buying the reflex. I got the Title reflex bag and like so many others there is no space between the spring coils like the FR. When the coils have no space in between it makes a lot of noise and also slows down the recoil speed as it rocks back and forth.
It’s cool but I can’t justify spending $400 on this. The fact that you have to tie the speed bag onto the pole is crazy for that price point. I would expect better technology and implementation.
I’ve had three different reflex bags including the fierce reflex pro elite. The fierce reflex is without a doubt the best and it’s not even close but I have an issue with it. The issue is the bag tends to flop or bend around the point where the pvc plastic cup that holds the bladder and it’s created a solid crease line around the bag and if I hit it a certain way the bag will flop at that line and will mess up the momentum of the rebound/reflex. So if I’m doing a combo for example and I’m working on that timing and Rhythm and I hit it the wrong way where it flops at that crease then it barely even rebounds and almost just stops. Plus I find myself hitting that pvc plastic all the time. I’ve tried adjusting or tweaking anything I can from the air pressure in the bag to how low or high I have the bag sitting on the pvc plastic cup and where and how I tie it to the overall height setting I have and even where I have the whole thing set up to try to try to get the most even level to avoid the whole damn thing shaking/vibrating even though I have 100lbs of concrete mix and a 45lb plate on top.
I've used this and grodex...pretty similar. I like the open spring much better than tight spring, but...the bag pops if its hit too hard and for a $500 piece of equipment its not worth this kind of money. It's just a couple of steel tunes, a shock absorber spring and some welds...thanks and take care Carlo
Don't get me wrong...I love the grodex. I have a title cobra at home (also not cheap $260) and it's ok. I use the grodex at the gym, and the bag is the biggest problem. If grodex was $300, it makes sense, but 500 is crazy. I still think it's the best piece of equipment. I do 6 rounds on it every day.
@@csquaredboxing awesome thank you! One last question, it’s my first time setting up a bag. When you inflate the bag, does the bladder sit on top of the funnel or do you inflate it with the bladder hanging on the side of the bar thanks again!

This vs the kewelus, is the motion as fluid? I’d be willing to pay the amount if it means I get the fluid motion I see in the fierce reflex compared to other cobra bags, but if I can get that with the kewelus kit, id much rather do that of course
In comparison with Reed's Kewlus cobra bag I think the difference for faster action will be if you Mount it permanently on the floor as coach Garcia suggest.also Kewlus uses pvc pipe on the top not a steel pipe.how heavy is the top steel pole in Fierce bag?does this make any difference compared to the pvc pipe?
I'm trying to get ahold of an open spring, which appears to be a shock spring, and see if I can attach it to my title reflex. The problem with pvc is its plastic and how much battering can it take. Kewlus' items are nice and not costly, but there's no real test of its endurance.

The brackets square of the base are not even welded on all the length.Lack of welding points on the spring and base, sloppy work, too bad, we only improve with the feedback from the testers....
What's up Carlo what are your thoughts between the reflex bag and reflex stick? I need to work on my timing and speed to make sure I land my punches without getting hit back too much
Hey bro, they’re both great tools, differences is the reflex stick has a lighter impact and smaller target. Both have about the same speed in terms of rebound. The cobra bag gives you a better workout because it forces you to punch harder to get the bag to rebound faster. Reflex stick is much more affordable and easier to move around. Doesn’t require nearly as much weight to keep on the ground. A 45 lb weight plate on the base and it stays put.
