Hi Neil, why does one edge of the wood floor have an additional piece for added dimension?

To level out the drawers. The 3rd row seats folded down is on a bit of a slope.

Hey Neil, how’d you secure the platform down over the 3rd row seats? I’m planning on the same style build with a new VX, however the luggage points aren’t rated as tie down points.

Hey Aaron, I used extra long bolts to secure the platform to the 4 tie down points. I also added a ratchet strapped the drawers to the 2nd row iso fix points to prevent the system from moving back if the bolt shears. Never had an issue on and off road.

Hi Neil, this is exactly the set up I was looking at doing. Can you tell me if it is easy enough to pull the whole thing out as I don't want it permanently over the two rear seats. Cheers

Hi Lee, it took me around 1 hour to install it by myself without any power tools. I’ve never removed it since but should take around the same time to dismantle.

Have you found the XTM drawers up to the task? I had a look at them at BCF they looked ok to me.

Hi Steve, for the price I can’t complain. I’m happy with them. There are custom off the shelf drawers that are more compact and have more space inside but they’re looking at $3k+ new at a minimum.
