  • I hope this helps when it comes to rewiring your tractor. Good luck guys! I also got alittle off topic but the 340 Utility is coming along nicely.

I bought a little 10 circuit breaker box at bass pro shop for 20 bucks. I was fixing a bird nest of wires under the dash of an old boat I refurbished. It worked great to get rid of the mess of wires with a inline fuse in a clump. It was almost impossible to trace them down . They make butt connectors with solder in them. You just poke the wires in and hit it with a heat gun. Sodered and shrunk at 1 time. Work great. Nice tractor. I have a 55 IH I am restoring. 300 utility

    Hello,
The tractor is looking good. You should have everything on their own fuse, that you can tell witch line in causing you trouble. If you have everything on one fuse you will have a hard time trying to figure out what is giving you trouble.

Thank you. I was going to run everything on it’s own fuse but since this tractor has so little wiring on it I think if it would have problems they will be easy to find
