Canoe Camping With A Small Hot Tent, Fishing For Pike & Bass.

In this last trip of 2023 we go on a 3 night canoe trip with the solo hot tent and Gstove for 2 nights and one night in a leanto. I’m out with Jay ‪@DaxWoodsWanderer‬​⁠ and we catch a bunch of fish. Some of the weather is nice and some terrible.

Question...a buddy of mine and I are experienced backpackers, canoe & car campers who have been discussing hot tent camping. We were wondering if there are any places upstate that rent the tent and the stove. I don't want to buy them for a potential one time use. Appreciate the help

I’m sorry I don’t know of any places in upstate NY or near by. Some are listed for northern Minnesota and Ontario but that’s it. Check out the Pomoly website for quality gear at decent prices. Id stay away from the Luxe company. Honestly a rental would probably cost you nearly half the price of owning though. It’s a great way to camp.
