This was my first time going to The National Railway Modelling at the NEC in Birmingham! I really enjoyed the experience and it was fantastic! Can’t wait to go there again!
There were so many great layouts. Some of my favourite layouts were:
L28 “All the Fun of the Fair” in OO & O16.5
Lots of buttons that the public can press and watch on the layout. Like operating the miniature railway, make the carousel play music, operating the boat into the lake and many more! The trains were in time when pop out of they the portrait of the clown and there was also great illusion in the Ghost Train part of the layout. Making the train going from one level to another!
L5 “The Royal Albert Bridge” in N Gauge
This was the second time seen this layout and it’s still fantastic! It makes me want to see the bridge in real life as well as travel over it! Very impressive what you can achieve in N Gauge! 
L18 “Holcombe Beach” in TT Gauge
This is my favourite part of the Devon Coast! I remember travelling on the line on the 14th April 2019. This layout brought back so many happy memories of travelling that line! It was very accurate as well as doing it in TT Gauge! Usually, most people would use N Gauge to create a layout like this one. But I was very impressed on how they managed to make an amazing layout in this Gauge!
there were other layouts there as well, but I just didn’t have much time to film them all!
In the hall, there were also given free rides on a miniature railway courtesy of Steve Purves’s “There & Back Light Railway”. It look fun and I couldn’t say no for having a ride!
Highlight of the event was having myself scan by the ModelU! Can’t wait to see myself in OO Gauge!
Thank you to everyone who was involved with the Event! I had amazing time and looking forward to coming again!
