Hello. Just today, I suddenly heard a long beep from my chronos x device and the following message appeared on the screen: Problem detected. Turn off, wait 10 seconds and turn the unit back on. I did, but an hour later it happened again. And then again and again. What's happening?
Anyone know where I can get my Kronos repaired in Thailand (I bought it in Bangkok)? It has a start up system failure, says also may be electrical circuitry. It's an 88 Kronos 2, hope it's not a reject. Out of warrenty. I'll try the suggestions to check the RAM contacts, but fear it may be other problem I can't solve. Help! :(
This error is a simple fix i don't think you needed to take the cpu board out specially on the newer Kronos, it's normally issues with the ram card or 2nd the hard drive normally those 2 would be my first troubleshoot and you can always do a full format on the drive and get it going. Its not to common to see these issues with the newer Kronos though.
You are right, in this video is not for the software, but the hard drive can not work because the CPU can not boot despite the replacement of memory, I think every problem can be the same but the handling is not always the same. if hardrive, external usb can not work because the cpu can not access my taste can not perform the installation. so in this video I take my cpu board to be repaired because it can not boot
Hi, I just added to my Kronos 88 (first version) second SSD 120GB SATA3 hard drive and 2GB 2DDR and I have the same information window like in this video. I checked now and original memory RAM in the Kronos is SanMax Technologies 2GB 2Rx8 PC2-6400U-555. I added to second slot 2GB DDR2 2GB RAM 2RX8 PC2-6400U CL6 (original is - 555 and propably CL5). I think it's wrong memory. What do you think? I have to formatted the new SSD hard drive? If yes, how I can do it?
