I do feel nostalgic. I am 50 years old and this sounds like 60 percent of my music collection I have been building since the mid 1980s. And I mean this as a compliment.
I mean as a genre, Shoegaze (which is what Soviet Soviet makes) gets a lot from Post-Punk. The first shoegaze bands had their start in post-punk or goth rock (which is a form of post-punk)
