I feel like we all go through this as moms. There’s a period where we doubt ourselves, our place in life, and (apart from our kids)- our purpose and motivation to keep going comes into question. It’s something that we all have to work through in our minds, and take as much time as we need to to come to a place where we have peace. The easiest way I can keep on top (kinda) w/ four kids- is to get up every day and have a routine of walking through the house in all the common areas and doing a quick tidy in the mornings. While I’m doing the downstairs, I’m taking out the trash, rinsing and stacking the dishes, and I’ve got one load of laundry going. I don’t do the deep cleaning all that often. I clean the floors, and wipe down the countertops and stove, but the other things may be only once a week. But if you do a little bit each day, it’s not as bad at the end of the week. In the afternoons I run errands, do my volunteering work, and tackle maybe one other item on my list. I’ve learned not to be so hard on myself. I do take a single day a week to have a self care day and do nothing much. I’ve also learned that the only person putting certain expectations on myself is me. Life is too short to freak out over all the small stuff. I tidy my house for my own peace of mind, and take care of my family as best I can. I’ve also learned to say “no” to a lot of things. Instead of taking everything on myself.
Hey The Mummy Vlogger, I love seeing your videos all the time!! I couldn't get over what Cosco had in store for Christmas. I couldn't believe that you had a fill bag of trash from doing that little area of cleaning/ddcluttering. I'm glad that I got my chores done before around 4 because my boyfriend is coming on his birthday. I can't wait to see more videos every week!!!! ❤❤❤

😅 I do talk quite fast to be honest sometimes my family are like what did you say?? 🙈😂 It’s also a funny one on TH-cam because when I first started a lot of people didn’t like how much I spoke on here so I think that’s where it comes from that I stopped doing chatty videos. However personally I love watching other peoples chatty videos that’s the main things I watch. Oh Lindt is my favourite but I think I would struggle with that advent calendar! I used to love the big carrot cakes when I used to go to Costco. I also cleared some drawers out this week and it does make you feel better 😊
Yes I absolutely love Lindt too but surely this is too much 😅 I mean £150 on an advent calendar that you eat I’m not sure, only at Costco 😂 Yes all the cakes are amazing and I love the ones for birthdays too because I feel like you get a lot more for your money with those and they taste so good not like the supermarkets.
