A few comments:
Never use the brake fluid hose to support the weight of a brake caliper, the brake hose could be damaged;
ABS sensor or its wire should be removed, to avoid the sensor wire being damaged by tools like wrenches;
Wear safety glass!

CMC5961 Yes that crossed my mind as I watched too.
Also: Make sure your sockets are the extra-hardened and thicker variety specified for impact tools. Also : a list of torque-spec's would be very helpful in Nm or foot-lbs. Otherwise clear and easy to follow.

Despite my previous comment I've now successfully changed my rear wheel bearing - it wasn't quite as hard as I made out to remove the bolts! Its amazing what strength the potential of saving garage labour costs gives you :) Seriously though, this video was helpful, thanks

How long did it take you? I'm considering doing this myself because I don't have the money to send my truck to the shop. I have worked on plenty of my own cars previously but just have very limited time now with being in nursing school .
About 2 hours, most of which was spent undoing tight bolts. The two spanner trick helped th-cam.com/video/SDI4j1LgqV4/w-d-xo.html
A pro tip from a non-pro: don't let the calipers hang on like that as it could weaken or damage the hose (I know - they're strong but why risk it?). Use a wire to hang them on or zip tie to get them out of your way. Nice and useful video otherwise (I use toque-wrench whenever possible to reduce the risk of over & under tightening).
True, never never hang the caliper on the brake hose. I saw a tech on my local Volvo dealer just use the brake hose to support the whole weight of the caliper he worked on 2012 Volvo S60 T6 AWD Polestar, I lost the trust on that dealership, and decided to do all brake replacement by myself.

great video just replaced my rear wheel bearing on a 2003 xc90 t6 your video helped me try this myself succeeded but your spanner sizes were wrong for my car. still managed to do the gob, many thanks.

If those bolts are anything like the ones holding my front callipers you must have superhuman strength! I'd be tempted to have a go at this only for the fact i know I'd probably be adding 30 mins per bolt on!

overall, good explanation, well done. Could I recommend a brass drift instead of beating on your socket extension. Also, hanging a caliper by the hose is not recommended. Unless it belongs to somebody you just don't care about.

Great video; I’m just about to attempt this, however I don’t have the large red Jack to compress the torsion bar. Can I get by with a small Jack near to the ground?

The procedure must be identical, only minor changes are possible.

Recommend not hangig the break calipers by the brake line. Typically hang them with a wire attached to the chasis.

Great video…. Although tie the caliper up at least…
Had seized bolt... Stripped it... had to remove the entire suspension part that the hub attaches too, and still couldn't remove it. Applied so much force that my 15mm socket broke. Anyway, consider buying a few bolts in-case, be prepared to spend a few hours if it comes down to it, and be prepared to take your suspension apart if necessary. By the way, how much torque should be used to tighten the 4 hub bolts?

No professional mechanic relies solely on an air gun to tighten things up, always check every nut/bolt with a spanner/torque wrench as applicable, very bad example...

I think the tech needs some professional training how to use tools properly.
6-point socket is highly recommended to loose those rusted bolts. The 12-point socket or wrench could easily damage the bolt head, and results in an expensive repair.
You can easily destroy the regular sockets if you use them on an impact gun, use impact sockets, they are designed for that. Also don't EVER hang the caliber by the hose that can/will cause damage to the hose. If you can hang the caliber using a bungee cord or a strap.

Couldn't get it off after I got the bolts out so I came here to find out that the secret ingredient is smacking the shit out of it with a hammer.
Deep cranked ring spanners not good , the bolts will be very tight , you will either slip off and damage your hand or round off the hexagonal bolt head ... so use a hexagonal socket not a 12 point socket . Hitting a hammer towards your face is very dangerous ! You should always use new suspension bolts ..Unsupported brake caliper ... How did you angle torque the driveshaft bolt? Volvo supply new caliper bolts with a new disc . I'm sure you will have learned in 5 years or so , by then the power gun will hardly be used at all due to learning from mistakes ......

Do not do it this way the wheel bearing was not properly torqued it will ware out prematurely 🤡
You are absolutely right, in practice it is absolutely necessary to use a torque wrench and keep to the appropriate tightening torques.
