So glad TH-cam recommended your video on realistic mountains today. I wish I'd seen it b4 my overworked attempt, but I haven't attempted to draw objects that weren't doodles or zentangles in decades so I'm chalking it up as beginner's practice.
It's not pretty, but I'm a little proud of myself for shaking off the "I can'ts" & "fear of wasting" supplies. I even broke out the never before used drawing pencils. I've never used anything other than a #2 pencil.
I'm not an artist, so I appreciate your step-by-step tutorials. I have a thing for ships & old locomotives so I can't wait to binge watch your videos.

Please more please. I’m totally lost as to where & how to show shadows. & I’m using colored pencils & I need more info. Also more info about colors. I want to do a ship with green sky’s & green ocean how and where does the sun go? & how do I make details stand out if I can’t add white after I’m done with colored pencils. I’m doing a red sky & purple sea right now. But I used a oil based marker on the sails & now they are cracking and I can’t add shadows. I promised my ship to a relative so help me fix it please❣️🌴😎🌴❣️

i would like to draw a sail boat the size of the santa maria grounded on a slope of a hill
in the mountains.
similar to the the flood story with noah .
i have a vacant property in the mountains and i often look in the direction of the ocean and picture a big sail boat on my property and think i may build a large boat to live in i have been trying to pencil draw that.that being an out of place sail boat,on dry land with trees growing next to the boAt.on a gentle slope
I love your idea of a sailboat on land, surrounded by trees, it is very original and inspiring!
I like your videos mostly because you explain and take your time. if measuring between lines is possible i saw you use your pencil for the mast to the front piece that would help, other than that this is great and i love it, only your missing the skull flag....ha ha ha, great job

Landmarks? I'm really sorry my friend, but this is artistic drawing, there are no marks, no measurements, just your creativity and a little practice, nothing more.
