You can't steam roll any modern pro team, they've all gotten so much better in the last 3 years. There will be no Astralis like domination anymore.

@@danderich2768 nah, it was the pandemic. Everyone sat tight on their ass, trained and studied the best. No one has the edge over anyone anymore - everyone knows their nades, their angles, their timings and everyone is deadly accurate. Also the online gaming market grew significantly and with that the prize money, so the competition is getting fiercer by the hour.

Not to take anything away from Greyhound they played great ( especially INS ) but CS2 just isn't ready at all for tier 1 LAN tournaments
I think most pros would agree, yeah, it's so unpolished. I was expecting them to introduce cs2 in the pro scene in 2024, but i guess doing this would be better for finding its flaws faster so it's fully prepared for the 2024 Copenhagen major.
CSGO was like this back in the day. It was wonky af with OP weapons. Though, people could still play and compete in 1.6, and it took time for teams to transition over. I think S1mple is being a baby for not competing atm, but I understand the pros being frustrated at the status quo of CS2; subtick, input delay and movement are not what we expected on the new engine this far into the games lauch. I do think though that Valve HAD to start with skins and make sure it was 100% working. Without skins, this free game, is gone.
@@CS_Sardine isnt s1mple just having visa issues tho? Pretty sure other pros are having trouble with it too, like Jimmphat. Im aware s1mple is unsupportive of cs2 being played in the pro scene with the way it currently is but i dont think he'd actually abstain from Sydney just because
