from what i recall, i think it was stated the barbarian's headband is supposed to increase his intelligence, however this is a high level barbarian so his intelligence has made it where not only is basically an unkillable barbarian with bloodlust to match, but he also has the intelligence on how to make it worse for whoever happens to exist in his general vicinity who happens to be evil Also that toothpick one he made a 12 hour version where he legitimately counts one million strikes out
If I’m remembering correctly his ability scores are supposedly something like 22-24 strength, 24 constitution, 20-22 dexterity, 18-19 intelligence, 17-18 wisdom, and 20-22 charisma. Intelligence from his twisted circlet of intellect, and his wisdom is from one of the cards he pulled from the deck of many things.
30:50 on the post tab. dungeon soup released the barbarians character sheet. its not that the blade is weak. one of the barbarians 4 epic boons is called invincible. once per long rest, he can reduce damage he takes to 0
It surprises me how often people don't look at the list the Barbarian pulls out in the vampire episode. It makes it much funnier when you see what he does in the other ones.
Why does everyone not understand that the Barbarian isn't doing the "RKO" on the Genie. It's the "Stone Cold Stunner" as the genie wished for. I get that they are the same move, but it loses it's meaning if you don't know it's the Stone Cold Stunner.
I like to think he's a taken a step further. He's a Psychotic Good Barbarian. By the way, there's a 12 hour video of the Barbarian doing all one million strikes on the "My Blade" guy. ...it takes about four hours for the guy to stop screaming.
I've been watching for a little while and the vampire/slime thing didn't surprise me too much because I know you're an absolute goblin but to know that your DM is an even bigger menace was the kicker.
You can question whether the barbarian is a good guy but I say he is. Why? Because everyone he went after was a killer, a tyrant, a perverted scam artist, a child eater, a wannabe super villain, and an murderous spirit. In that order.
And I say that being (unnecessarily) evil to evil people is still evil. Though I would settle for claiming he's Chaotic Neutral. A good person would just stop/end them for the sake of ending their evil. Not torture them and enjoy doing it.
@Arbaaltheundefeated it infact does because in order to even be considered evil one needs to actually commit an evil act. And while our barbarians act are as one says *barbaric* it's only evil when used in alignment with evil.
22:43 Yes, it could be commentary on his love life... how after he'd made all of the changes she'd demanded, she runs off with a bad boy she's just met...
One of my most memorable campaigns had a situation where we were tasked with stopping an invading army. ...I was a necromancer. ...Many war crimes were committed that day.
a few things i know some people tend to miss is 1) he ate the lemon to make the toothpick hurt more... and 2) bagpipes were said to drive banshees away due to it hurting them more than salt...
When I play DnD every one of my characters will eventually become an alcoholic and consequently become a god because of their alcoholism... @_@ It's not that I try for it. It's just how things end up to keep the game wild and sassy.
So that's where the "My Blade" clip came from, I first saw it in a Warhammer group I'm apart of on Facebook with the caption Dark Eldar lore in a nutshell.
According to the chevoes list from episode 2 The Hurse of Strahd, he's level 20 and has reached enlightenment... the chevoes list is also an episode guide for the series.
I played a slime girl in a campaign. They were a moon druid. Sweet thing, never asked for rewards for quests and was the nicest cinnamon bon... If you were friendly. If you were evil or her enemy a switch flipped and she became a true monster. Like slasher flick monster. She forced a dwarf through an arrow slit with her with an over 30 strength roll and well... yeah that dwarf didn't survive. She dunked enemies in lava and held them in til they perished, terrorized entire villages as a giant snake, suffocated demons using giant space hamsters, drowned cultists using an ocean of rats, wear the slain as a disguise like a skinwalker multiple times, gave a demi lich nuggies until he died in the most humiliating way, you name it she was a monster about it. Something about slime girls just makes you do degenerate things and its funny. At the end of the campaign the party thought she was pure evil, but she was just chaotic good. The town and the surrounding areas loved her because she helped nice people for free and well, you know how high level characters can build towns super fast/resurrect people for free/ext...
You mention this series looking like something from CN and my first thought was that it looks incredibly similar to Adventure Time in terms of art style.
Na, ya git ! 1:50 we French can pronounce Philactery without much problem, so, no, not 99% but more 85% of the other non-french people cannot do it... Ya git !
I dont know who tell you that, but this animation are not based on D&D plays, like Legends of Avantris or Vox Machina...they are simply original animations with D&D theme... Also the Wizard King's videos of this channel are also good
I love your reactions to all this DND content and might have a reccomendation for you, "life of Artificer" by Heretical Fun House, their sketches are amazing

He also replaces the Toothpick halfway through. By the end, the knight was just a pile of flesh then Barbarian with "Squirt of lemon".

I mean, on his bingo board there is "reach enlightment" and it's checked.
If watching the 12 hour version, turn captions on.
This is what happens when a Barbarian gets ahold of a Headband of Intellect?
Oh boy…
17:58 It wasn't an RKO. The genie wished for death's "stone cold" embrace... so the barbarian gave him the Stone Cold Stunner.
30:50 on the post tab. dungeon soup released the barbarians character sheet.
its not that the blade is weak.
one of the barbarians 4 epic boons is called invincible.
once per long rest, he can reduce damage he takes to 0
It's so much worse when you realize that the barbarian walked into the salt with his eyes wide open. Think about that. Oh God
HE HASN'T BLINKED IN DAYS!
It surprises me how often people don't look at the list the Barbarian pulls out in the vampire episode.
It makes it much funnier when you see what he does in the other ones.
And what he will do to others monsters
@@lihh5028was about to say the same

I love how once you know what our Barbarian is like you can see that he intentionally gets himself in these situations.
For the bingo card!!!😂
18:02
That was the Stone Cold stunner, not RKO.
He did ask for deaths stone cold embrace...
I like to think he's a taken a step further. He's a Psychotic Good Barbarian.
By the way, there's a 12 hour video of the Barbarian doing all one million strikes on the "My Blade" guy. ...it takes about four hours for the guy to stop screaming.
The better term for phylactery is “Soul Tupperware”
Came for the barbarian stayed for the suspiciously colored slime girl interrogation of a vampire.
you really should have taken closer look at that chaotic chad barbarians bingo board when he offed dracula mid monologue.
Always throw salt at helpless maidens. Worst case scenario, she gets a little salty, beat case scenario you save your life.
"Immovable Rod" by "Deck of DM Things" will be a palate cleanser.
I've been watching for a little while and the vampire/slime thing didn't surprise me too much because I know you're an absolute goblin but to know that your DM is an even bigger menace was the kicker.
Barbarian :your suffering is the punchline
The barbarian is level 20
but tortures their enemies like a level 100 psychopathic monster 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Ohbhes defintiely gone above lv 20. He's a 3.5 barbarian doing his epic level solo campaign
@@OneLilSpark It shows on his bingo card, all of his goals are there
No thats death by stone cold stunner

@Arbaaltheundefeated nobody innocent was killed.
@@Arbaaltheundefeated nobody good was ended.
Only evil beings were harmed.
@@xandan1668 I heard you the first time, I replied to you saying that, don't just repeat it as if that refutes anything of what I said in turn.

If you look at that bingo card in episode two, EVERY EPISODE this far has been from that damn card.
This man is why the phrase "insult to injury" was coined.

Yes, it could be commentary on his love life... how after he'd made all of the changes she'd demanded, she runs off with a bad boy she's just met...
There's no laws against the monsters DM I can do whatever I want to them
I haven't seen anyone mention it yet, this barbarian's stat sheet is either in the video description or on the main Dungeonsoup TH-cam page somewhere.
No way
It was done as a community post on their channel.
One of my most memorable campaigns had a situation where we were tasked with stopping an invading army.

Awesome
The barbarian is essentially a villain who gets away with his evil deeds by going after monsters only lol

YEAHHHHH, careful with the voodoo doll. It works but the Barbarian doesnt care.
so glad to be seeing all these reacts to dungeon soup cropping up all of a sudden. they definitely deserve all tbis attention! such great animations 😂

I cast: Music in only one ear
Ever since suction cup man and legends of avantris ive been waitkng for makari to react to this.

When you think about it The barbarian was able to ride a Pegasus think about it.
So because some people cannot pronounce phylactery we shouldn't have it?
At this point, you're really looking at what videos TH-cam is recommending me
"Geneva Convention? More like, Geneva Suggestion...." - Chuckles
Omg 😂
If you ever watch more of these, turn on the subtitles, they have some gems
That slime girl looks like could know some chuckling space clown...
25:30 Did you see his bingo card? These aren't intrusive thoughts. Every atrocity was premeditated well in advance.
You should tell dungeon soup you d&d story so he can animate it for everyone.

“Stone Cold” embrace. Get it?
Nic cage doing a butthead impression.
Soon as I saw the thumbnail with you next to it, I knew what i was walking into-
Skipping 10 seconds at a time through the slime girl story is much more entertaining than watching it.
Dungeon soup also has the wizard king. there are only 2 episodes but they are really funny too.
You mention this series looking like something from CN and my first thought was that it looks incredibly similar to Adventure Time in terms of art style.
If you go to the vampire episode, you’ll see he has a punch card with many things on it..Some of the things are the different episodes!.😂
I just noticed that the guys sword has a Mickey Mouse keychain charm.
Wizard king is very funny too =)
All hail the Wizard King!
Interesting fact, there is a 3 or more hours version of toothpick one where he actually counts
As a chaotic neutral DM... This kind of stuff makes me so happy. Lol
"Squirt of lemon"
3:03 "cough" "cough" UHHHH WHAT?! WTH BRUH?!
Ive had a few chaotic chaotic charaters.

Pegasus oath is void, you are an alicorn.
Not an RKO. Key word was 'Stone Cold'. Only true fans know of the Texas Rattlesnake's signature move.
All the videos are based off his bingo card seen in episode 2.
Barbarian is not a "good guy" he simply fight with those on the evil side

Why is Zelda music playing in my left ear?
BEGAWN FOUL SPIRITAH
Honestly, though, I’m a bit insulted you compared to Vegeta when Goku let enemies power up first. And way more frequently.
