Great review. All the questions answered. Looks like a very nice kit. Also appears there will be an Interior version coming out as well. Thanks for posting.
Is this to model a very late war, King Tiger. I ask this because there are a lot of spare track hangers on the sides of the turret. I would want to build a tiger from kampfgruppe peiper December 44, and none of those Tigers had that many spare track hangers. Thank you.
Pretty much yes being a VERY late Tiger II though its seems they have included parts to back date it to what your looking for.. 9 teeth sprocket are on the sprue but alas you'll have to sort a set of different tracks. On the spare track hangers you might have to eyeball location of the hangers as the tracks again are different being a 2 piece affair but looks simple enough ( (without seeing the turret closely they RFM might have placed faint spots for that kind of track arrangement). Give it another say six months and RFM will have what you'll be looking for I'm sure my friend.
@axesspeaklouderthanwords8077 thank you for your help. I imagine you will probably be correct and that they will release a tiger 2 from the period I'm looking for.
Lazy - no interior. But they use some interior parts? RFM have never had an interior King Tiger so it appears they have bought the moulds from Takom? What they have then done is just add a few bits of their own - slow clap! The timing of this release after the excellent and multitudinous versions of the Takom kits is dreadful. Bottom line - there is nothing to see here. Just a very hackneyed item perhaps to get rid off some excess sprues
Now those are lovely looking mouldings. Impressed.
Thank you and glad you are happy with the kit, all the best👍👍

Nice review.
I think the basic kit would be my choice.
Cheers
Nothing wrong with that choice at all, and thank you for the very kind comment👍👍

That is so much better a response than I could ever have done.

Edit. There will be an interior released later. TBH it’s too late for this release given the MENG / TAKOM kits.
A strange executive decision
