- hi friends! phew this video was a tough one for my tech. sorry for missing a couple days, hopefully I can still get caught up and make them up. 😊
there are SO many books coming out in 2024 that have piqued my interest, but I narrowed it down to 35. These titles are being released January - August, so I'm sure as the new year progresses, more will be added to my list.
I read a variety of genres, so hopefully there is something here for everyone: Horror, SciFi, Fantasy, Thriller, Historical Fic, Folklore, Mystery, and some genre-blends as well.
*I DO have my review for the Shadow & Bone trilogy! I forgot LOL (linked below)
**AND just found out that Oracle is book #2 after Hex! Which I haven't read and now hearing reviews, I won't be.. so sadly probably taking Oracle off my TBR. 😣
What books are you most excited for in 2024? 😁

This was GREAT! Added a few I didnt know about to my own tbr for the new year. So many exciting new releases!!
oh I love that!! what are a couple you didn't yet know about? I've already found a few more to add to my TBR since making this video lol 😅
@@the_eerie_faerie_tales my throat an open grave and that botanical one 😍 both sound awesome!
@@AmyNoelleReads nice! 😄
4:41 EXACTLY!!!! Like don't come over here knocking. A call or text is just fine 🤣
OMG Horror Movie sounds so good! I can't wait for it to come out 🙏
I'm interested on how different Middle of the Night will be with Riley Sager switching up perspectives 👀
I get a little panic attack each time lol what's worse is this house doesn't even have a peephole or window by the door to peek out of! 😳 why 😭😂 glad you found a couple interesting ones here 😄
Can't wait to see what the cover looks like for that Grady Hendrix. Thanks for putting a lot of these on my radar!
you are so welcome!! 🤗
OMGGGGG Craig dilouie's new book!!!! I need it in my hands YESTERDAY 😅😱😍👏💯😅♥️ also Among the living sounds so good too!!!
I know! With how much I loved Episode Thirteen, I cannot wait! Too many good books!! 😍📚 yes I know you love that wilderness setting, sounds perfect for you! 😄
aaaah so many booooooks yay!!! my list got so long already and i realised i was only half way through haha thank you for all of this! So excited for more from Kacen Callendar. Also I'm with ya on the door knocking thing. I fully just freeze in place and panic quietly till they leave.so....yea that's me lol. Oh and i wanted to add, Amazing lipstick and make up in general!! the whole aesthetic is so dreamy and with the cat in the background, so cosy and enchanting :) love it!
yay awesome!! glad I could put some on your radar! what's a TBR if it's not a mile long? 😆 I've never read from Kacen Callender, what have you read so far? ha I do the same - and we don't even have a peephole.. so it's even worse! aw thank you so much, I appreciate that! 💄 🍄 🐱💛
@@the_eerie_faerie_tales oh a peephole, that would be so useful. ill hope to pick a place that has one in future! so I'd read King and the dragonflies which I loved a lot, then Lark and Kasim start a revolution though I hadn't finished it in time and it was my last library return before moving country so that was sad, and never could seem to get my hands on Felix ever after by them because it was always checked out by someone😆. I was drawn to them while seeking out writers that also use they them pronouns and i found their stories real and beautifully described. definitely recommend. and you are most welcome, thank you for the cosy vibes 😁
@@mistywebs oh cool I'd never heard of those before! well hopefully you'll get to finish and read them some day. aw thanks 😄 and glad you like the cozy vibe!
❤❤
I have a lot of these on my list too! 😄
awesome!! so many great books coming out! we are spoiled 😄 what are a few of your favorite so far?
@@the_eerie_faerie_tales Oh my gosh, well there’s so many dark fantasies and horrors that I have my eyes on. But I’m probably most looking forward to An Education in Malice and The Haunting of Velkwood!
Hi Ms Eerie FaerieX I do admit that the Internet has taken away from my reading efforts. Dystopian novels and Twentieth Century History/Politics was once very much my thing. I often miss it. I also had a liking for some of your American authors such as, Charles Bukowski and William Burroughs.
well the internet has... audiobooks 😉 though I mainly read physically.. there's just nothing like holding a book. those books sound fun! What have been some of your favorite books?
So trueX
Post Office and Ham on Rye by Bukowski. Junkie by William Burroughs, and most of Orwell's Books. Coming up for Air, and The Road to Wigan Pier, both written in the 30's, serves well to contrast a rising modern middle class living on credit, and the British working class.
Hey @Eerie! Long time, well, not that long ago. Just saying hello. I don't celebrate any European holidays. One of my favorite must-reads for any year is "Afrikan People and European Holidays, Vol.1 & 2: A Mental Genocide" · Ishakamusa Barashango. He breaks down some unpleasant but revealing Black truths.
Anyway, I'll holler in the future.
I'll be 70 years old on January 2, 2024.
I see Friendly Brilliant in the Revolutionary Blackout Network's live chats. Are you familiar with them? They are dropping hardcore truths and taking no prisoners. I've also seen CAP LOCKS in there as well.
Next time. Say hello to Ryan for me.
hey Seamster! gtsy 😄 well Happy Almost Birthday!! 🎂 oh! I hadn't heard of that channel, I'll have to check it out. LOL @ ALL CAPS 🤣 I mean I kinda get it but I always thought some caps for emphasis was just fine. Have you been catching any of Ryan's Pirate Streams? I made my TLAV playlist public so if you wanna check it out, it has the channels he uses. 🤗
@@the_eerie_faerie_tales I haven't been catching his pirate streams. Cap Locks used to be in the TLAV live chat back then. Anyway, thanks, I'll check out your playlist.
Those were the days back then.
Ryan still should get his 100,000 youtube plaque.
@@superseamstersewingshow514 I agree.. they did him dirty! welcome. 😊
