What we do up north, is put all winters and holiday stuff in bins and then store them in attic until that season comes around so we don't waste space in the dresser/closets. It also makes the holiday stuff fun when they see their cups/dishes, decorations, holiday clothing come back out the next year. We put our seasonal/holiday books/toys in the boxes as well so the stories are always fresh. Kids have so much stuff nowadays, this might help pare down a bit.
Love how you Both are doing this. I just do this with my kids they share a bedroom but also have a playroom which is now more of a hangout and has their desks for homework and crafts and whatnot. But I got rid of a truckload of clothes and toys. Their playroom and bedroom looked just like this. My husband didn’t help neither did my kids my have taken 2 days but it got done before school.

My daughter is 30 and her baby girl is only 2 months old but she also has her American Girl Doll and all the accessories to hand down to her. The amazing thing is I’m a minimalist so that I kept all that stuff is a miracle. I also kept all my children’s books to hand down to my grandchildren.
This video is so soooo good you guys! Your voices sound so soothing. As a loving parent who is passionate about my children’s room.. this was literally feeling euphoric. Nothing is better than watching loving parents tend to their children’s lovely room. So much good energy going into it, it’s nice to see what I love to do in action (without me doing it lol)

I love you guys.. I wish my partner would join me in the cleaning cause I'm one of those ppl who needs to bounce ideas off someone and I'm terrible at decision making but he likes to work by himself so it's hard finding a balance. I would suggest switching the doll house with the bookcase maybe
