This is my all time favorite Beach and Boardwalk in the state of New Jersey. I’m 41 today and been going there every Summer since age 10. Now I have daughter who loves it there too.
Born and raised in OCNJ. Left for the Navy in 1967 and never came back. Almost nothing left on the boards as it was, though nice to see the Surf Theater marquee still used. This video is well-done and I especially like the stereo audio with different sounds coming from either side! A nice walk on the boards without the sweat! ;-)

Thanks for posting this. Last time I went to Ocean City, NJ was in the early 90s with my grandparents. Both are gone unfortunately 😢 I can’t even say this brings back memories as I don’t remember what it looked like back then, but thanks for posting this. This gives me an idea on how it could have been! I hope to make it back there someday.
I am now over 72yo, I spent every Summer in OC when I was a child at my Aunts hòuse on 16th St just one block from the beach and boardwalk. I visited 7 years ago with a Thai friend and hope to live long enough to return. I live full time in Bangkok, Thailand because it is never cold and I have many Thai friends. After graduating from Jenkintown High School in June of 1967, I worked at the Plymouth Inn for the summer before going off to the Altoona campus of Penn State.
My favorite beach town...I used to live on 8th street while serving in the USCG 1985...the vibe of Ocean City is so relaxed...it has a certain feeling... I see some improvements on the boardwalk like public bathrooms😂...don't have to go to music pier bathrooms...also some new businesses as well as the classic ones.. thanks so much for making the video and bringing back some great memories✌️
In my opinion, it all depends on what you're looking for. Ocean City NJ is known for its family-friendly atmosphere, while Wildwood offers a more vibrant nightlife and a lively boardwalk with amusement parks and attractions. If you prefer a quieter beach experience, Ocean City might be the better choice. If you're looking for more entertainment options, Wildwood could be the way to go.
I am going to work in atlantic city this year but I had a chance to work in ocean city too but I choose AC but I dont know anything about these two citys If anyone who know this city's can tell me am I choose the bad one or the good one in terms of safety salary cost of living etc btw great video before I go there I learn the city very well from your videos 😂

How have I not heard of the Ocean City Boardwalk?! I had a rental car for a whole month and would have gladly taken a drive over! It looks a lot nicer and classier than other Jersey boardwalks and that small-scale roller coaster looks exciting! BTW You can ask for a sample of Kohr's soft-serve ice cream. You'll be disappointed that the orange cream doesn't taste like orange, but more like children's chewable aspirin. Meh. Don't waste $5 on it.
I hear Blue Cactus is the new place to go if looking for real food and fresh on the boards after you get your pizza fix! FYI there are much better pizzas then the famous manco up there. The perennial visitors need some reprogramming!
