This second section brings Serpentine's ability into full force as we've got faces from Gunvolt's past coming back to haunt him. As we go through the level, we come across old foes from Gunvolt 1 and 2, now tag-teaming with each other for a rematch. First up, from ASG 1, we have Jota and Viper. After them, we have Zonda and Tenjian from ASG 2. And after that, an additional fight added in a post-launch update, Merak and Teseo from both 1 and 2. Although that last one hasn't been dubbed yet, so we just switch to Japanese voices for a bit.
So I wanted to do a thing where I would add the boss fight themes from their respective games over the fights from the old games, but as it turns out, the sound settings in this game don't actually do anything.
