Hi Nick saw the video the other day and love catching trout near the surface. Copied your idea but with a midge tip and caught 4 fantastic trout in a few hours. Thanks for the tip , it really is a fun way to fish.
Hi Steve, Thanks for watching and I am pleased you have had success. It is a great method when it is working and lots of fun with very visual takes. Tight lines and best regards. Nick.
@@stevetickner659 I tie my own, I would imagine they are not available commercially. The body and tail are gold and black mosaic wing material and the head is black spun deer hair - very simple, apart from the deer hair spinning!
Hi Mark, Thanks for your message. I would be delighted to take you out once we can go out with 2 in a boat. Eyebrook is on fire at the moment, I've been out twice since last weekend and had 60+ fish over the 2 days! Let me know if you'd like to get out, I think we will be allowed out after the bank holiday. Cheers for now.
H can i ask the make and model of the line? Only reason for asking i have just purchaced a reel with the same colour line on and it appears to be slow sinking like yours? Many thanks.
