I have the node running on my main computer, but when I used the new bat files on other rigs with the IP address where the Node is, it's not working. I’m on windows, not hive. Also, all my rigs/computers are not on a network.
@@emmanuelveronessi5672 nope. The best I got was installing the ks-bridge to each rig, and configure the bat file in each of those rigs to mine with its own IP4V address, but the ks-bridge still maintained the IP4V address from the node. So that remained the same.
Hi Rabid, thank you for the awesome guide. Got this to work with a Windows miner but so far have been unsuccessful with hiveos to connect to the node. Getting the following error. Failed fetching new block template from kaspa Malformed address. Could not decode address. Decoded address is unknown format. Any help will be appreciated....
@@RabidMining same router lan etc. But thank you so much I manged to resolve. I mistakenly put in the wrong address for the wallet. For Kaspa you need to include kaspa: the address Which I found unusual at first.
So you use the localhost ip4 address on the network, instead of the actual ip address set by your service provider?? Is it because your hosting the node on the same localhost machine?
Still can't connect my GPU rig to the Kaspa node PC. Is there any setting I need to change? The Kaspa node PC will be useless if I can't connect my GPU rig.
@@RabidMining I try ping the ip address of the Kaspa node PC but got the message: Request timed out. The same error I got when I try to connect the gpu rig to the Kaspa node PC.
The only part I would added would been how to setup the computer to auto-start for the Stratum/node in case the computer crashes/restarts etc otherwise great info!

Sweet saw another tutorial and it consist of loading Linux on to a separate computer and wasn't willing to go through the hassle to save 0.9 percent and I'm running through Windows so perfect!! Noticed I'm solving more then I'm getting on pool especially with pools having bad luck so gonna take the Solo plunge.....

My kso ultra is mining at 407gh to my own node, awesome. Good video. Nowe ill try a few days and see if i get a block, if i do ill dump all 4 of my ultras on to try👍👍

Also, how does it goes for the reward when we mine with LolMiner. Don't see nothing coming into my Kas Wallet. I know that when we mine on a pool, the pool send you your rewards (after you have defined the minimum). I was working with BZminer till yet and mined on a pool, everything was clearer (but don't pay enough -> my fault, my equipment is to cheap). That why came the idea to run a node and mine into it. So DL wallet, set up as node, sync, bridge, mine to bridge. I have some questions - when the node is sync'd the transactions you see(accepted blocks) , those are from other miners? - how come you swapped to your capture card, is it because you had a wallet/node already sync'd and you didn't want to wait for the syncing? - why do they have it setup where you can't mine directly to the node and need a bridge? Question for you! You mention its a good idea to have a separate node wallet from you mobile wallet. In hiveos, should you also be using your node wallet when setting up your flight sheet? What happens if your node has one wallet (node wallet) and hiveos is using the web wallet. Where does the payment get sent to? Thanks!
Rabid, great video, thanks! Got my node synced over the weekend. I'm having a slight issue with the bridge setup. I got the IP, updated the config file, but my computer doesn't recognize the file type for the ks_bridge. Asking me what program to open it with. Any insight here?

bridge is up and running but my rig which is on hiveos does not appear on the bridge and it also doesn't mine since it is not connected. I don't know what I did wrong, I followed the steps on the video but I think there is an issue with the ip adresses. The thing is my pc(windows) is connected to an extender and my rig(hiveos) is connected to another extender but both extenders are connected to the same router, I don't know if or how does this cause any problem but this might be it. I would be really glad if anybody helps.
Have my CPU build aimed at your pool. Hiveos says 4.450 kH/s. How can I tell if it is actually connected to your pool and the stats? On the Derohist website it shows nothing
@@RabidMining the desktop wallet or node wallet you installed has a feature to compound transactions and creates a new address. Issue is how can we get the coins back to the node wallet. Once you do compound, the coins disappear from your total coin balance
Do I have to setup a wallet with the node if I all ready have a wallet in Zelcore that I mine too? I assume I can use the same wallet I do for pool mining and just point to my node.
Are you able to run multiple kinds of nodes on the same rig? Kaspa, ironfish, Nexa, presearch? Is there a way to have one computer to run all these nodes? If so possible video?
I have couple of machine running solo on my node but ks will not show indiviual workers just total hashrate .. do you know how to get all worker states on main machine thks :)
I reinstalled the PC, turned off the antivirus and installed KDX from the beginning. But I still can't find the file NODES/Kaspa/ks_bridge? Is it some other NOD installed yet or ??

Ya I just showed the install part on my workstation but I run my nodes on my nodebox so swapped to the capture card to where my node I use is.
Do you have to select "GPU Miner" option in KDX app in order to mine? Or can I leave it on "Kaspa Node" and run the Kaspa Bridge?

It is your own node so I woukd then just transfer it if solo mining if pool mining then can ignore the node use your current wallet

the same thing happened to me, I had to reinstall windows and it worked and synchronized in a little less than two hours.
Hi Rabid. In a pool there's a certain payment threshold when you reach it, you get paid. In solo node, if you don't hit a block, then no payment?

Do I have to setup a wallet with the node if I all ready have a wallet in Zelcore that I mine too? I assume I can use the same wallet I do for pool mining and just point to my node.
Actually I setup the new wallet anyway. I set my node up on Linux though so wasn't quite as easy :)
Are you able to run multiple kinds of nodes on the same rig? Kaspa, ironfish, Nexa, presearch? Is there a way to have one computer to run all these nodes? If so possible video?

I have couple of machine running solo on my node but ks will not show indiviual workers just total hashrate .. do you know how to get all worker states on main machine thks :)
Need to set worker names for them to separate them.

I reinstalled the PC, turned off the antivirus and installed KDX from the beginning.
But I still can't find the file NODES/Kaspa/ks_bridge?
Is it some other NOD installed yet or ??
I made those folders the bridge is a separate download
