Ghost kitchens are popping up around the country's restaurant scene. Good Morning Arizona reporter Gibby Parra took a behind-the-scenes look at the facility.
I have a place like that it's called a marketplace its basically like 20 restaurants in one place, you can eat a bit for different places. My coworkers love it because there is something for everyone.
I know this is an old comment, but your very perceptive. My wife and I are starting a ghost kitchen . And after signing up for all the permits, I know, we had to list our business as being part of a good court. I thought that was interesting. You find it logical.
Ghost Kitchen are probably on a rise due to its accessibility to the market, questions you to think whether or not this is bad for the restaurant / online food delivery market.
“March 9th: “Look there are tables and chairs here u can come in and eat or u can pick up or get delivery” Less than a month later. “Sorry gotta get delivery cause u can’t eat here anymore and if u do come u need a mask” Ah those were the days
I have so many restaurant ideas. As a consumer I know what sells 😅😅. I know a few locals with their own restaurants using " Ghost Kitchens' . The pandemic really set a tone for developing independent opportunities.
i think when they made this video the kitchen wasn't working yet. this is just a sample.. where are all the people working? all the riders? all the chefs? 01:39 wtf the guy isn't doing nothing.. where is the smoke from the grill?
It looks pretty sterile doesn't it? The best part is apparently when you order from one of these services sometimes they'll pretend to be another restaurant. Chuck E. Cheese's becomes Pasquales.
Well somewhat, some Ghost Kitchens use already kitchens that aren't use that then they allow to be rented by one company depending on the size. well if you get better in size many Ghost Kitchen has different sections of cooking from Pizza making, Burgers, Chickens and so on.
I own a place for Organic Burgers, and cost $ 5.00, because my family have a meat business and give excellent price on the meat, but I can't afford to give the 30% to the delivery men, it would be nothing for me, I'm already taking penies beliveing on the volumen.
I only eat food procured and prepared by me. Nutrient rich healthy foods only. To me this is same as Taco Bell or Popeye’s which is food (really a product not food) made to sell only.
Great concept however at the end of the day the top is the one making the money COVID & the current trend has forever changed the future of sit down restaurants
Yap...i do that with my chinese take away resto..which is now ..become Ghost ...since we are not able to pay the rent...since the pandemi ..rise ...so we just serving the existing on line customer .. and the amount of customer is adding. covering 75 % our daily revenue..!! Survive ...and survive...just trying to keep the legacy ..float on ...until it can be pass it on to the next generation !!
Ghost kitchen looks only like a temporary solution to the current crisis. When there is no brand or emotion or history behind your food, it's gonna be like Amazon where people are going for reviews and price only. And when this model works, big guys will introduce automation robotics and millions of dollars in advertisement and everyone will be out of job.
I am fascinated by the idea, but having clones of a restaurant seems uninteresting. I generally am open to it, but there are some issues and ethics that need to be worked out first.
NO! Got SICK. AFTER. EATING THERE FOOD . It looked fine smelled fine eat it soon as we got back to the office. Belly ache . Had to go home SICK . I love to eat. Out. But this restaurant name. .... it a thumbs down .
Thankful for this opportunity 🙏

Question?
Is the health department inspecting these places?
Every few months.
@F Nahim they would be because it's their reputation at stake they would not risk it
Of course. You can’t operate a food business without legal inspections and permits.
Now you can try all the chicken sandwiches in one place.
I need to get into this in the stock

It was filmed before all restaurants were open that day.

It looks like Craby Omondays off of SpongBob
NO COLORS, NO UNFORMS, NO FLOWERS, NO LIGHTS.
It's scary shit
Nice commercial. Is that what they call news in the US?
there is no such thing as three lunches
I want to go live alone in the woods without all those things...
Is there a lady that would come with me... winters will be cold...
Funny. Sounds like a dream.
Is this more of a shared kitchen concept?

I honestly flinched when he was speaking-I felt like he was spitting 😷
This guy's voice sounds like Daniel Cormier's
Cool stuff just make sure those raw birds are under the cooked ones
ghost kitchen is a great business however this majors 3rd party food apps charge 30% per order. :(
I saw that. They wanted like $2 a slider, no way. Can I afford it? Yes, am I going to get ripped off? No.

They’ll still need managers and some maintenance/cook techs

Good for I liners nit fir cash payers like me
Glorified sweat shop
U need to wear a mask if ur a chef making my order out food peeps. C’mon, that’s the whole point Arizona, that’s why we’re sick.
This was before the masks became mandatory.
Enough already with the stupid masks. We survived thousands of years without them.
This is ridiculous. I don’t like it.
Lol its a foodcourt or plaza
No face mask I’m not eating there
this was back in march bozo
Do you wear a mask when you make your oatmeal?
People were sick in March, wear masks.
@@MsLeonor1968 hunny. It wasnt at the point it is now and nobody saw what it would become. Some parts of the world didn't have outbreaks until April.
This was before the masks became mandatory and they started wearing them the next week.
