Idk much about that otto guy from hi3, but I think it would be cool if he goes down a similar path. I've kinda wanted to play as Otto, he seems like an interesting villain. People seem to hate him but I like good villains, especially if they are playable
If I can say one thing about the HI3rd community, it's that we despise Otto but also love Otto.
Hate what he caused the characters we grown attached to to go through but can't deny that he is a very good character and a excellent villain as well.

When I first heard him speak in the story quest, he sounded kind of robotic. I don't know much about HI3, but I do know of a robot called Void Archives. I also happen to know that he might have entered the Star Rail universe along with Welt. Could it be?
Luocha is a expy. While VA is totally different individual, or rather entity that took one of Otto's clones and decided to join forces with Welt to defeat the Sky People.

Luocha was Otto's name in Shenzhou when he brought Kallen in the coffin to find Fu Hua. It's just that the translation decided to read the ideograms like "Raksha" - the sanskrit name that comes from Rakshasa. The Chinese pronunciation, tho, is Luocha - meaning Demon. For both Raksha's name and Luocha's name, the ideograms are 罗刹

Am I the only one that thinks Luocha being Otto or Void Archives is too obvious? Hoyo loves to pull unexpected things and this would be the furthest from unexpected.
Now that last line and the fact he's on the path of Abundance is what's sus to me
Now, now. Bailu's also on the path of Abundance and she's not a criminal. Though he acts very very suspicious, I do think that the only Yaoshi related thing about him would be his amulet, which he could have found laying on the ground somewhere for all we know.
But I wonder... What would Otto/Void Archives be doing in the Luofu ?
@@Whenpigfly666 I don't mean that every Abundance character is bad, or that Abundance is inherently bad or evil. I more so meant that lore wise he seems related to Abundance, with the whole healing Xueyi who is a puppet and the others specifically acknowledging that he's using powers from the Abundance, and since the bad things on the Luofu seem to be connected to a radical group of Abundance followers that's what stood out to me. With Bailu it seems to be more so that she's Abundance gameplay wise, but not necessarily that she's using powers of Abundance to heal in lore (hope that makes sense, I don't know how else to explain it).
I could be interpreting it wrong of course, this is just my take on what we've seen of him so far. He very well might just be a traveling merchant like he says. Regardless I'm curious to see what his mission will reveal

@@Whenpigfly666 No, she's not. Gameplay wise she's Abundance, but lorewise she's not. Luocha is lore wise treading the Path of Abundance, confirmed by Dan Heng's story quest in the Xianzhou, when he healed the mechanical judge using an Abundance-specific technique.

Considering how hard it is to make a anime while raising a child and having a wife, with also yet another world-ending threat approaching earth, let alone living on the body of a dude who nuked the planet and waged world wars on a monthly basis... I guess we can understand why Welt and VA decided to go take a vacation in Star Rail and enjoy a One-Piece like adventure on space.

to be fair, he's associated with (abyss) flowers in HSR. it should be noted that, although a grim thought, flowers too can benefit from nutrients of human corpses. I believe there was a famous Japanese myth/story that "a corpse is buried, encircled by the roots of a cherry blossom tree. as the tree saps the blood, its petals bloom into a fleshy pink"
