I remember those teams complaining about the potential for making the race, depended on the random draw out of a hat...but it was a mistake. They should have flipped the schedule, where the go or go Homers went out first. Could have solved a lot of problems and gripes those teams had about the weather
This Qualifying Session had some surprising runs from drivers like David Reutimann and Scott Speed. Good runs from some of the go or go homers like Brian Vickers, Sterling Marlin and Joe Nemechek. Probably the most disappointing run from a Go or Go Homer was Sam Hornish Jr.
I miss this qualifying session when all of the go or go homers go at the end of the session of qualifying
