2 years ago I was shopping Sam’s Club for paper towels. I dawned on me that I was literally buying trash! Instead of spending $18 on paper towels, I spent $16 on bar mops. I’m using the same set to this day. Also, to keep them bright white after using the heck out of them in the kitchen, I toss them in a small bucket of oxyclean solution in the laundry room. Once or twice a week I dump that in the washing along with the bath towels.
Great idea for wipes! And for paper towels, I buy cheap washcloths and keep them by the sink in the kitchen and bath and never have to be dependent on supply in the stores!! I make sure to buy only white ones so I can distinguish them from our wash cloths. Every few days, I do a load of these cloths. If the spill I need to clean is very greasy or messy, I use torn rags that I keep handy for this use and then toss them. I'm going to make these wipes today!!
I put it in bottle sprayer for countertop, refrigerator, microwave , toilet and stove. For mirror and window I used half water and half white vinegar in bottle sprayer. For toilet bowl I used half Dawn and half white vinegar in squeeze bottle. I sew old flannel for toilet cloths reuses. 😊
I bought a case of white washcloths at a resource store a couple years ago, and use them for cleaning. I use the same recipe, but add tea tree essential oil for extra germ fighting. Thanks for sharing!!
Great idea. I love my dollar general. Where do you get your essential oils and what brand do you use. I have heard so many different things about oils. And it scares me to use them. I heard the cheap ones are poison. And I heard you can make yourself sick even with the expensive one by putting to much in a diffuser. Do you use oils for medical use like cold and allergies? Maybe a topic for a new video. I’m lost and confused with oils.
Could you put the disinfectant recipe in a spray bottle and just use the cloths to clean with? I’m going to give it a try. Thank you for the video.

Hey I may have some bad news for you 😭 the % on the alcohol bottle is just the percentage of alcohol mixed with water so when you add more water, the percentage goes way down and it’s not really effective to kill bacteria
lemon for mine
2 cups water, 1 1/4 cups rubbing alcohol (70% or better). add essential oil of choice.

Hi Debbie, l just heard another TH-camr shopping video say that she purchased some essential oils at Dollar General for her at home cleaning only.. I will probably try to go and see if they have the oils here in the south Dollar General's myself.

I make the mixture for all purpose spray. Our store put Kleenex/lotion in where the paper towels used to be. I can't stand those tissues lol Thanks for another great idea!
