Thanks Jesse. Crying my eyes out today. Nobody in my life cares about hockey, so it's important to me that you guys come on and say the right things in the right way. RIP Johnny Ham'n Cheese.
Just seeing the picture of Johnny young family just hurts me inside thinking that they don’t have there dad anymore and it hurts even more that Matthew will never have the chance to meet his first born as his wife is pregnant with their first child. As a soon to be father I’m hurting for the family and send out my condolences to the Gaudreau family may they rest in peace
Matt played for my local team the Reading Royals and he was the one guy who made sure to have a lengthy hockey talk with everyone getting autographs after a game we went to and there was a kid named Matt who was on the autism spectrum who called Matthew Gaudreau "Matty Hockey" and he responded "no, you're Matty Hockey" and the kid had a huge smile and hopped up and down I hope the Royals retire Matt's #11 (also worn by Adam Comrie who also died tragically in a motor-accident) and the Flames retire Johnny's #13 RIP
Jesse what a terrible day but I wanted you to know I've been following this all day and I think you really did a great job conveying your feelings and ours. Shocking and tragic. But thank you for this one.
Out here in AZ and crying to this! Absolutely LOVED Johnny. Absolutely gutted by what happened. Fly high Johnny "Hockey" Gaudreau! What a human being! 😔
Thank you Jeese for this video, being professional and showing emotions. I needed this, my firends and family doesnt follow hockey so to share with you was nice, thank you
What an unspeakable, incomprehensible tragedy. And to think of the excitement of his reunion with Monahan this year, not to trivialize the situation...
I watched him many times at the Saddledome, and he always reminded me of my favourite childhood book...The Little Engine That Could" and Johnny certainly COULD So many times I actually burst out laughing at how ridiculously good he was, as he turned a defence inside out, or set up an incredible goal. Man he was fun to watch!
The thought of a child asking where dad is and that family having to answer that rips deep as a father myself. This was preventable. Prayers to their family and all who know them, they were lovely ambassadors of the game
As a Canucks fan, I just remember him lighting us up in the 2015 playoffs I wasn't even mad, as fellow short king. His game tying goal against the ducks game 3 round 2 in 2015 made me fall in love with him, I was just like who is this 12 year old boy? so clutch😭😭😭😭😭
On November 29th when Calgary visits Columbus and on December 3rd when Columbus visits Calgary will be the two games every hockey fans watches. I can see both teams already doing warm ups in a Gaudreau jersey as well as having #13 on helmets. Maybe even having both teams retire/honor his number. Hoping Columbus wins cup in next 5 years b4 his contract expires bc yknow he getting name on cup
I appreciate that you took the time in your channel to address this horrible tragedy, Jesse. That said, I am incredibly disappointed in Adam and Steve on being silent about this news. Linking a video to a Gaudreau tribute is not what your followers are looking for, Dangle. I don't care how busy both of you are. These two young men are dead. They don't have a tomorrow. It does not take long to make a quick X (formerly known as twitter) video on your reaction to the news. This is a new low for both of you...
What strikes me the most is the dichotomy between the innocence of what they were doing, just two brothers out having fun riding bikes and the cruel negligence of the drunk driver.
11 years old, was hit by a driver doing 40 in a school zone, also with a suspended license It's lead to severe health conditions all our damn life and the doc's said we were lucky to live So not surprisingly, this story has hit home INCREDIBLY hard, cannot honestly fathom how their family feels right now, the fact they were there to attend their sisters wedding, all of this, all of it is wrong and just fucking bullshit. R.I.P Johnny and Matthew Sticks out 🏒🏒🏒🏒
Thanks Jesse. Crying my eyes out today. Nobody in my life cares about hockey, so it's important to me that you guys come on and say the right things in the right way. RIP Johnny Ham'n Cheese.
Sending my love!
Not even your mom and dad?
Amen to that. Very glad to have these words.

As a born calgarian I’m deeply hurt and I pray for his brother and his family and can never repay what Johnny did for our city

Thank you for opening up Jesse. Be smart people, and share love
I remember watching Johnny in junior here in Iowa. Such a talent. Prayers to the Gaudreau family.

For what he did at his size, he was truly electric
@@JesseBlakeSportsReport Yeah for sure. Every time he touched the puck, the energy in the building went up.
The pictures coming out of Calgary 😢😢❤❤ are just amazing
Yup, he was truly beloved by the entire city
@@JesseBlakeSportsReport yes he was
Thank you for this video, Jesse

My heart is utterly broken for the Gaudeau brothers.... Omg.... 💔💔💔

People who drive drunk are the worst. They have no regrad for human life.

R.I.P Johnny ❤
Damn.
RIP Boys you will be missed
Could have got better pictures, though. Shameful.
We shall never forget you, Johnny Hockey.
Glad the person who killed him (sean higgins) is getting some serious jail time for this.

Well put. Life is so unfair sometimes.
