I binge watched a lot of your videos before my February Year 11 mocks and went from 7s in science, maths and 6s in english to 9-9 in science, 8 in english and 8 in maths! @@almaalhorani1077 mine went good I got a higher grade then expected. I reccomend looking through the specification and seeing what you aren't fully sure on and start revising early and do practice questions 🙏🙏🙏 also u don't have to force yourself revise and get over stressed about it. hope this helps ^^

i love vides like these, a paper walk through actually teaches how to approach the exam. my science teachers barely give us exam questions 😭

I have my biology p1 exam in 3 days and i cannot tell u how much of a lifesaver this video is especially as i feel very unconfident about topics like the heart and infection and response. tysm for this i definitely think my exam technique for biology was the worst b4 this video. :)

@@kishanbhatia5241 yeah, what helped me is incognito revision, it’s essentially Senaca but for science and math instead of geography

(Yr10) Because of mental health problems I stopped being in cumpulsory lessons for 5 months and recently I had a wake up call and realised that I shouldnt have done that and now Im binge watching all ur videos (since 3 weeks ago) and its been a life saver tysm!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼

Currently working at a grade 9… however, I’m only getting around 2-8% above the 9 in my mocks, so I’m trying to secure the 9 for the GCSEs, thanks for the advice! I think biology is my strongpoint, as I get this 9 with roughly 3 hours of studying for it, as I just understand the concepts

Physics is def my strong point. I js did pmt questions on most topics on paper 2 and secured grade 9s. Chem is a lot harder for me

@@loco5594 It was a while ago now so I can't remember exactly, but I got a 9 in my actual exam! My tip would be to use the mark scheme effectively when going back over a test, and note how the examiner marks the question, because each type of question will have a style of marking to go with it, and so once you start to recognise these then you can think about what the mark scheme is asking for here.
Also Cognito is just the best at everything!

wouldn't the line of best fit in the last question be a curve? because the points are clearly curved and typically the graph for rate of photosynthesis and temperature is a curved line not straight.
Please do more question walkthroughs for other subjects,this video really helped me understand what I was missing in my answers and showed me how I can improve thanks to your tips

Also, as some of you noticed, I made an unfortunate mistake for the graph question (so ironic), since its photosynthesis it will have to be a *curved* line of best fit (due to the denaturing of enzymes)! This shows that everyone can make a mistake and thank you for catching me out on it - future grade 9 students in the making LOL

@@adorables6590 Hii I would not really recommend pre-made flashcards as it takes away from the learning process and you still have a lot of time to make your flashcards in year 9. You can find out which textbooks / websites I use in my ace your gcse playlist where I go through each subject

@@loco5594 Hi! I thankfully recieved 9’s in both Chemistry and Biology . Currently fighting for A’s in Yr12 but i would say that using flash cards and using practice exam questions after revising or learning a new topic is definitely a must. Sola has loads of other tips to so I definitely recommend watching her videos. Hope this helps ❤️

The graph question is incorrect, the line of best fit should be curved because the rate of photosynthesis first increases, then decreases

You can't get a grade 9 in Alevel Chemistry you can only get A stars as the highest grade

I’m in the middle of my last set of mocks rn and I’m not gunna lie it’s not looking good. If I actually become consistent can I still get grade 7s at least. I really want to try. I don’t have problems actually understanding concepts, just actually being able to apply it to the exam questions.
