This was my first CFB game. I was pulling for my Trojans on the North end but shit happens. Besides COVID we haven’t won at Rice-Eccles since I was in high school. Amazing atmosphere and I could tell Utah wasn’t going to give up with Lowe and Ty Jordan on their helmet.
This one or the Bama Vols game for game of the year so far. Kincaid was crying at the end. Sports matter. It teaches you that when you work together as a team, anything is possible.

College QBs were making statements for their draft future today, these 2 were great and Bama and Tennessee QBs were dealing also, it refreshing to see them throw dimes as opposed to running all the dam time

It's funny because this is the exact reason why the Chicago Bears need Caleb Williams right now. I watched this specifically because it was his first loss as a starter against a ranked team. It was an epic showdown and literally the only reason this game wasn't a blowout was because of the USC defense. A common theme in Williams' college career. It should come as no surprise. LR has it in his mind that all it takes is offense and a mediocre at best defense. That is all he has ever shown in his coaching career. Then watch the cool kids come in and stir up the discipline and technique. LR is a nerd with cool kid complex. It’s like he wants to be cool and fit in for once in spite of his record.
The roughing call with targeting was a good call. #99 on USC led with the crown of the helmet when he tackled Rising and drove his head into Rising's upper chest area. Can't torpedo any player like that.

Oklahoma understands they were going to be continually trashed with LR in the picture. It was slow death around here. Discipline eroded to a point we couldn’t stand to watch it when winning it was so frustrating. We see exactly where we are and where we are going. LR had to go. In spite of saying that. If LR would have won out and played for a title we would have all been proud. That he made the most out of it. It’s just a self evident truth and proven track record. The man refuses to take defense as being a serious priority. I hope he finds it. Losing Caleb Williams continues to show its depths around here and I get it. USC is where Caleb wanted to be for a number of reasons. Saying he should’ve gone somewhere where he had no relationship with the coach or somewhere like Bama where’d he’d have to sit behind an established Heisman winner is just ridiculous. Playing under Riley seemed to work well for Jalen Hurts and Kyler Murray, so Williams will be fine.
