    Can I exercise with blood clot in leg??

    I recently had multiple pulmonary embolism and the vascular surgeon encouraged me to proceed with a clot extraction. My heart was distressed and now the right side is enlarged. I was told if I didn't do that procedure it would take months to recover. I wonder why your Dr didn't talk about that type of procedure with you??

      @terencejay8845 ปีที่แล้ว

      Swimming is great general exercise but it doesn't really involve the compression-relax of the calf muscles that is important for lower leg blood flow.

    Second question was a weasel-word answer about pain. Jeez all these doctors are really spooked about using pain killers. Just admit that in the near future, no one will be allowed pain mgmt just like in russia. Just exercise, you'll be fine lol.

      Gerry, I pray you don’t harm yourself. Please call on the Lord. He is the Great Physician! I have had blood clots removed from my lungs last year. Now I still have 8 DVTs in my right leg and I feel the pain. We are all here for a reason.
      The medical system sucks for us older folks. But you can help others understand more about this blood problem.
      I just read that blood thinners can give you clots. The doctors didn’t explain this to me.
      Take care.
