Definitely worth it if you like calm and slow paced puzzle games with a mystery plot. It's a bit simplified compared to the original game, because it used the Nintendo DS in some very creative ways which isn't possible with traditional controls. On the other hand in the remake you can freely explore the environments. There's a free demo on Switch which should give you a good idea of what the game feels like.
