Sense thinkway lost the rights to Toy story, I hope Mattel will revamp the Ultra Buzz Lightyear. Especially the wake-up system one. Also, hope they'll make Signature collection Utility Belt Buzz.
Considering there haven't been any Ultra Buzz toys released in 20 years, I wouldn't have high hopes for a re-release. It would be cool if it happened though.
Much as I like the sound that idea, Thinkway hasn't been in business for awhile now. They disappeared after toy story 4, and the only other parent entity that makes decent good accurate buzz lightyear toys that are sold through the different parks and resorts is Disney. Mattel only makes a small proportion of Pixar toy story merchandise today sold in our stores but nothing compared 20-30 yrs ago. The action chop buzz is the closest thing to a movie action figure without wings, laser,and pressable buttons, the wing button which makes him talk. And no communicator. But he's not a waste of plastic he's got his element purpose charm, same goes for the Disney store ones. If toy story 5 were to get made then maybe it's possible mattel could produce toy story 5 stuff, not certain about Thinkway doing it again.

There's actually concept art of Ultra Buzz that I wasn't aware of until after I made this video. I might make a part 2 for this video showing it off
But yeah I'd love to see a company make modern day collectibles based on these older designs

There's no way every variant will get remade. However, we could still petition the return of variants.
