Enable unified GPU usage monitoring in MSI Afterburner so you can see accurate readings in AMD graphics cards. That's why you see fluctuation in the GPU usage, going from 100% to 45%, back again to 100% (2:14). It was probably not running at 100% though, with the CPU being almost maxed out :)

I wanted to get an rx570 aorus for my new build, but only next day I heard about all this mining shit. Prices skyrocketed ridiculously high and now I got a gtx1060 3gb. fuck them miners.

I have been subbed since the early days before his count was hitting near 200k, I think he was one of the first youtuber to concentrate on older hardware and low budget predominately.
What I like is he still recording in his conservatory most of the time, don't change this, as in spend a fortune to make a pristine studio with brand logo's everywhere, keep it real that's what the fans are here for.

in only a few titles, most of the time 1050 will be the better performer.

I was going to get the 4GB model, but newegg is sold out of ALL their 4GB RX 560. So, tomorrow my new Sapphire RX 560 Pulse 2GB arrives. I'm still kind of excited though, since I'm upgrading from an HD 6950! lol

+El Diablo I love those people throwing random bs on the internet. GTA V runs extremely well on PC and the scaling between different settings is really good, so even if you have a low end card, you could get decent fps with not so terrible graphics.

My EVGA GTX 770 SC 4GB I got for $50 beat the RX 560 by miles. It overclocks really well also. I suggest buying used cards, for you can get so much better performance for such a lower price. Do a video of the GTX 770 please. 2GB cards see a RAM problem, because the 2GB is a bottleneck to the card. The 4Gb variant is pretty rare and expensive, but if you can grab it for a good deal, it is an amazing performer.

freesync is like 5 times cheaper
With amd you go cheaper, but not safer.
AMD has got immense support for updates, and the added feature that most of the features it provides (FreeSync, ReLive) are open source.

In Romania this is around 150$ ..
Usually at Newegg it's $73 but right now due to people buying up AMD cards it is $105 but it should go down soon

It very likely is not capable of pushing those sort of frames on Crysis. The RX 560 is not a very powerful GPU.

I run Nvidia cards in all of the PCs in my house, but after experiencing the unfortunately named Wattman and Relive on my brother's PC recently, I might consider trying AMD next time. Wattman is the best overclocking utility I have tried, and Relive is at least as good as Shadow Play without having to sign into it with an account. Both come built into AMD's software suite. I didn't get to try Chill, but the concept sounds like a really good idea.
I'm really looking at this card now as it's on sale here in the US for about $89 after rebate, & at that price it's really got me itching to buy it.

The gtx 1050 ti low profile with four gigabytes is $30 - $40 dollars more than the rx 560 on amazon. Just wanted to let people know, not trying to sway opinions.

what should I put in my ddr2 system? because the ram cap sucks (capped at 4gb) but I still want a good gpu that isn't over kill for the system (q8300 cpu I think)

Rather save for a better PC overall without the GPU and THEN proceed to buy the GPU, with a better GPU, only games will play better, but with a superior CPU, the whole PC is better
You are save with an 560.. But the bottleneck isn't the CPU, the real bottleneck is the PCIe gen 2.0

Sold my ps4, but wanted to keep playing tekken 7 so I got this card for just 80$(used, excellent condition). I was very skeptical about the performance but was more than glad to be proved wrong. The card runs tekken 7 at 60fps consistently most of the time at high settings. Best purchase that I’ve made in a while.

The 1050 and all of the pascals alike are actually self overclocking, which makes "Stock for stock" comparisons useless. Reviews for OC vs OC are becoming rare.

Not really. In 3v3 games, my 560 Ti would fluctuate between 80 to 54. RL can get intensive sometimes in 3v3 matches. While true, the 560 should be faster than a 270X and indeed the average should probably be something like 80 instead of 64 .... oh well.

This Benchmarks is wrong in first 3 games. Look at your CPU usage, its clearly bottlenecking the performance. Next time Pick a strong CPU if you really want to do a review of newer GPUs.
This RX 560 will perform much better with strong CPU.

No. I have an RX 460 4GB and games like GTA V, Deus Ex: MD, AC: Syndicate and so on are demanding on VRAM, even in 1080p. Games run smoother and you have the possibility for cranking texture-settings up.
middle-high settings, 40-45 fps. Very playable with Freesync.
The more gpu ram you have , the more future proof it may be .
Gedankenblitz15 If u have an rx 460 u probably talking about the 75hz freesync monitors, the thing is freesync on those monitors only works between 48-75fps, so 40-45fps gameplay won't be affected by freesync.
well, since my last comment i got a rx 560 4gb (got a good deal on it so went for 4gb) and an AOC 75hz monitor, kinda wish the freesync on it went down to 40fps cus rise of the tomb raider runs at 40-45 fps for me (very high settings). still good tho

i also have a r9 270x 2GB which is pretty much the same performing as 560 in most things. I hit the 2GB ceiling in shit loads of things... I just priced a brand new PC with 2gb vram and 8gb system ram and it saved $100... after watching how that system was performing though in videos... it's not worth saving the hundred.

Good, honest review! Partially anyway... I feel that you didn't want to get on AMD's bad side, because you never mentioned any downsides, nor did you recommend a better graphics card being sold at a similar price, either way, a great review so well done.
Both RX560 and GTX1050 have support for Freesync/G-sync, but the cheapest monitor with freesync could cost you no much more than 100-120 euro vs. the minimum +300 of the G-sync cheapest monitor. Nevertheless, this is only important if you gonna make your build form zero, in which case I think that the balance goes for AMD. Instead, if you only go to renew your old graphics card and you have no intention to do so with your monitor, chances are that you go for the GTX1050 which is more powerfull. This is not absolute, but I think that that's where is the choice question.

I always watch for enjoyment. myself in my skyline shoebox have the lp 1050ti and it's great , in my z97 I have a r9 fury so depending on my mood in an team green or team red. but if your on a budget these days your getting so much more for your money. I remember paying for a Nvidia 7600 gt and that was like 165 quid back then and I felt like I got a good deal... now it getting 1080p cards with playable rates for under 100

I am impressed by this card my Nitro 5 has the 560X variant and it plays just about everything. RE 3 runs like a dream at a locked 30 FPS and high settings.

RX 560 with 4GB or ddr5 is running at about $165 US now, so the price is up since last year but I find it's the most reasonable price for it's performance range: other GPUs are a lot higher in price. I hope this holds me for another 5 years, albeit I'll be scraping by in 4-5 years on low settings if I can even run the newest games. I run some lower intensity games usually.
This exact card is also Plug-And-Play in a Mac Pro 5,1 and supports Metal. Just throwing it out there to help the .002% of owners like me who still use one of these old beasts.
