    I say I request a most beneficial outcome for this reiki Healing session.

    How I would talk about intention in Reiki is mostly in the use of the various symbols. The distance healing symbol is all about clear intention to send it to a specific person or animal or place. All of the symbols can respond to various intentions to their various uses. Sometimes I give up a specific intention and let Reiki or my guides or Reiki itself decide where and how the Reiki flows.

    I love that this is being discussed. Intention is a vital part of my Reiki teaching. One of the most important concepts in transmitting energy. Thank You!

    My Intention is to be in the place of Love and Healing in my Heart, and that the person receive whatever is in their Highest Good and Greatest Joy

    10:59 Thats so helpful to hear because I feel like thats one of my biggest struggles when practicing reiki on others. I feel like I should know it all and like I need to know specifically what is going on in what ever area of their body that I'm working on. It's nice to know that I can release a little bit of that need for control and just allow the reiki to do its job.

    Thank you for your clear explanation about intentions! It really resonated with my limitations, my physical limitations and definitely I will try to intend giving self reiki to different parts that I can not reach. That is so beautiful, no effort here and no frustration. Thank you again! All the blessings 😘🙏

    Hi Andrea, could we keep a same hand position or placement through out the whole reiki session? I'm curious about this because reiki knows where to flow and heal, then why we have to place our hands in different positions? Many thanks ❤🙏

    Hi, I have a question for your example of the water: water and Reiki are not the same. We know Reiki is intelligent, water not. Could you explain that please?? Thank you 😀🙏

    • @GetRachelRay
      @GetRachelRay 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      We are made up of mostly water 💧
      While one may think it does not have intelligence, it's a great analogy because water DOES go to its highest and best use, every time.
      In the 🌎 and in the body 🙏🏽🙌🏽❤️

    Hi Andrea I do guided Reiki with you veryday I have a question I do self treatment everyday but I only have one client she lives in Florida and has chemo treatments every Tueday i send Reiki to her with a Teddy bear I am attuned for Level 2 so I know all the symbols using my intensions can this bee helpful to her?

    • @MainstreamReiki
      @MainstreamReiki  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Offering her Reiki over distance as you were taught with the intention it help her for her highest good is ideal. Then just offer the session. Trust the Reiki.

  • @edmundjohn1010
    @edmundjohn1010 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    at what distance does one need to use distance Reiki .

    • @MainstreamReiki
      @MainstreamReiki  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It is used anytime the client is not available for a hands on treatment. Although we often use the distance symbol in the presence of the client to treat issues from the past.

    • @edmundjohn1010
      @edmundjohn1010 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@MainstreamReiki thank you. Does that mean if you in same room but for reasons can't touch the client ie burn wounds you would use it?

    • @MainstreamReiki
      @MainstreamReiki  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      @@edmundjohn1010 Sure--you can't mess this up. I activate all symbols for every session because I see no reason to limit what I am able to offer. Then I let Reiki 'decide' how best to help.

    What if your giving reiki to yourself? I still remove my personal stuff before I start?

    • @MainstreamReiki
      @MainstreamReiki  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Approaching a self-Reiki session with objectivity may help you realize new insights and understandings about yourself and what is happening with you rather than remaining in the same patterns as before. A beginner’s mind open for new perspective is a great thing to experiment with.
