I know a lot of people say that there’s not very many rookie cards but I really think the inserts are really nice !
The Supernatural inserts always look pretty sweet. That's a pretty good to get an auto from 3 of 5 of them.

Same came across a restock at target I bought theee of them all jersey cards. Went back next day grabbed the last 2 and jersey cards as well. Walmart near me had 5 rookies and stars I grabbed 3 all jersey cards
Same here man, weak ass Ritter jersey card. Few inserts, few rookies. Did get same Patrick Myhomboy he did.
I do like the style of the cards looking like a ticket, but I do wish they had a little bit more color to them
Ticket design is definitely clean, but agreed on them needing to add some better looking parallels to retail

Funny thing, I just got a box of these cards at Walmart. I only got 1 rookie card, but it was an auto rookie of Julius Chestnut, value about $10 on Ebay. Never heard of him, lol. No jersey cards in my box. 36 base cards, 5 inserts, and the rookie auto. My Supernatural card was Kyler Murray, value of about $3.00. And I did get a Jerry Rice game day ticket, but it's only worth about $8.00.
The funny part is the price at Walmart was $21.98, so I got one, but when I scanned it the price was $27.98. So I bought it, and then I took it to customer service and told them they charged me too much, she checked, and they had the wrong price on the box, it should have been $27.98 not $21.98.
So they gave me a $6.00 refund and I got the $27.98 blaster box for $21.98. Also got the 5 inserts, and quite a few base QB cards, but nothing special, will most likely not buy another one, especially if I have to pay full price for it the next time. Even at $21.98 it was not a good box. It was just a bunch of plain base cards, and the one signed rookie card that was not worth much.
I knew these aren't the best boxes buuuut they're one of the few you can pull Purdy

So you are basically paying for one auto/jersey card? Because you can get 8 inserts/non-base cards in each 22 card value pack. The back of the value pack also says you can almost pull the same cards as in the blasters.

I like them got a auto variation riger mccreary. Fun rip for me.
With Contenders, as always you're mainly looking for the rookie auto's because there aren't any rc's except for rookie inserts. But with the retail blasters and mega's, the rookie auto when you pull one, is usually a rookie free agent or later round draft pick. I did see people pull Justin Herbert auto jersey cards back in 2020-21 from Contenders retail though so some bigger pulls are possible.
Brock Purdy is a late round draft pick so the good news is that I think you can pull his auto's from retail.

At least once a year I buy a blaster box and maybe a hanger box, but all the autos I've gotten, I don't know them, not even sure if they played a second year. It also sucks that the jerseys aren't game used

Love contenders, the RC autos are a big part of my PC, but retail contenders is sticky booty butt checks. I'm surprised it ever leaves the store shelves. If you buy this, you got addiction issues.

My best hit was from a 2020 contenders mega box. I pulled a wildcard variation auto of CeeDee Lamb and sold it for $300 raw 😂 that was like 2-3 months after I started collecting again and was so pumped
That Lamb is a good hit from retail. Usually, the only auto's that are usually pulled from retail blasters or mega boxes are rookie free agents or later round draft picks.

I think the best bang for your buck right now is mosaic hangers and blasters. That’s all I’m buying right now from my target. Did rip a mega box of the select that was actually fun

I just picked up a box at Walmart today. Caught a Brady 86 of 199. The playoff ticket card opposed to the base card that is called season ticket. I can't find a lot above this card. Any info on it would be appreciated!

As a Lions fan, there is still not 1 Kerby Joseph rc card this year!? He was a 3rd round pick and arguably the best rookie safety in the league. But Panini can include Julius Chestnut in this set. 😅

Guess The "CardGod" James LaRue got lucky , bought and opened up only 1 pack of these cards and it was FULLY LOADED a nice auto of the rookie Rams running back I think it was and a bunch of other stuff , better then what wad in those 5 boxes.
Lots of base, but I don't hate the style of these cards. They've really grown on me.

Not sure if they are releasing any fanatics exclusive contenders football this year, but I really enjoyed the green cracked ice they had in 21-22 contenders basketball. Gives the product a little more flair in my opinion and would be cool to see on autos and memorabilia in this set. Thanks for always keeping us entertained!

Not a bad blaster if you hit some bangers out of or at least autos congrats on those three rookies auto. I heard it was hard to pull autos and bad pulled rates. But then I went and bought 5 blaster anyway to test the water and it ain’t bad at all, I pull a Taylor heinicke purple ultra rare stardust and a Desmond ridder wild card round green laser auto, thought I’ll comment in here to let you know and everyone thanks for the review your awesome.
Last year, I opened up a bunch of contenders. Best hit was a Zach Wilson RPA which I shoulda sold when I pulled it lol

I just picked up 3 of these boxes at my local card shop. Never opened sports cards before so all this is new. But I got a auto in my first box that I can't find enough examples to gets its value. It's a Bailey Zappe auto. It's # is V No.104.
Right now his cards arent worth much since he is a backup at the moment. But would hang on to it.
That's not a bad card though especially that it has the V before the #104. It's a rookie variation auto. Too bad it's not the optic chrome version rather than paper. But definitely a nice hit! What kind of ticket is it? Does it say Rookie ticket, wild card, etc.?
