Got a 2002 Eiger with manual trans. Faster than my bud's Kodiak 450. Excellent handling, construction and stability. Very comfy ride. Can't find a better 4X4 for the price.
i have one of those it used to be my dads quad its only broken down once out of the 6 years we have had it its only broken down once from accidently running it without oil i would say it is the best quad i have ever ridden out the 5 quads ive had
Although it will be close, the heavier AC will not have quite the power or fuel mileage that the lighter Suzuki will. We have a request in for several '09 Arctic Cat's for testing.
@cuuhicks This test was filmed in Southern California. Most of the others are filmed in the Utah mountains. That's unless we are on a trip with the manufacturers.
I have a 2007 Arctic Cat 400 manual that use the eiger engine and was just wondering if the power and fuel consumption was the same. My AC can go through anything and doesnt use to much gas. Would also like to see a review on a AC 400
Should I straight trade my '04 raptor 660r stock for a '02 Eiger 400 stock? I want something for off roading, But kinda want to wait for a grizzly or King Quad to come along.
First, I suggest that you use a GPS to measure the top speed of your ATV. Speedometers are far from an accurate measurement of speed. And second, the 400cc does run out of steam above 20 or 30 mph compared to the 500cc machines - especially up in the higher altitudes we ride in. And third, the handling is a bit limited as well.
only problem my friend has had with his, is dirt and mud etc keep getting in the carb. If you get one put a fuel filter on it, this has happened about everytime we ride. untill fuel filter! has more power than my 05 rancher 330
hey my friend is giving me his eiger it only has 5miles on it but i have to work with him i love sport quads and i want a sport one can i gat a sport body for this/or make it look awesome
I've owned this bike since 2-05. Only thing I dont like is that I didnt buy two of them! I got over 2000mi on mine its doing just fine with reg oil changes. Stock tires are about shot though. I will say the snaps holding the plastic on tend to fall out easily over time.
Thank you for this one! There's not too many Eiger videos on the Tube.

They did. The new Eiger, called the King Quad 400 is great looking!
Our experience has been that the fuel consumption on the Suzuki's is a little better due to lighter weight and more efficient transmission settings.

My preference would be the Eiger - or actually the new models are now called the King Quad 400. One reason is that I like having a low range.
That's exactly what I was wondering !
i was just wondering my eiger has 196853 on the clock its 06 is that much?
i rolled my eiger and it keeps wanting to stall any 1 know what the problem is
It has a limited-slip front differential.
is there a conversion kit or something where i can ride my polaris with suzuki rims?

Suzuki every time
is this belt driven?
@LITTLEREBEL55 Yes. Only the Polaris requires a push of the override button to back up in 4wd.
