Awesome video per usual. As a wild camper, history junky and a part time park ranger/ security officer I have been on both sides of the fence 🥸. I look at it as an adult version of hide and seek. If I find you and you’re respectful of the area and rules, fair enough. I might even show you around or suggest points of interest. That being said, the worst offenders are teens looking to party. I’ve set up some reflective and glow in the dark “ scary eyes 👀 “. Around Halloween 🎃, I’ve been known to hang up a white painter’s jumpsuit in the trees or float it down the stream. This castle has links to the place that I work at, (I'm a security officer at Tonbridge castle) namely as it was built by Richard De Clare or "Richard De Tonbridge"
"Betchworth (or Beechworth among other forms) Castle was the seat of the manor of West Betchworth and was held by Richard de Tonbridge"
I never knew this place existed but being an avid paranormal investigator & now knowing this location is linked to the place of my work I will pay it a visit at some point...
If you are ever in Tonbridge please feel free to pay us a visit at the Castle, you could even do an overnight camp at the top of our Motte (beautiful views up there).

there's an 1800s asylum that's been abandoned since 2003 about an hour up the road from my house, and it's as haunted as it gets. labotomies, shock therapy and other nasty creepy and kinda awful things went there. it has nightwatchmen that don't even use a torch, if you know what i mean! last time i went there both me and my friend were chased out of one of the old buildings by a ghost, you could hear the footsteps on the floorboards as it gained ground on us. gives me the chills even thinking about it. be careful with the paranormal mate. my god they'll put you in your place

I feel 'stealth camps' are more stressful than they are worth.🤔 You had wonderful sunset views in time-lapse photos🤩but they could have been achieved from any Surrey hilltop.

My favorite part of visiting England and Scotland was the castles and haunted stories, the countryside so beautiful. You need a waterproof boot bag, also keeps critters out, love the video.
You want to visit Wales also if you like castles, the Norman's built loads of them here to try and keep us Taffs in check lol.

I always have to make sure I eat before or during the videos so I don’t get hungry from the excellent meals Andy prepares
Just a little bit of advice when stealth camping. Wear a high Viz with security on the back and clip a walkie talkie to it. You'll get away with murder. My friend walked backwards into Wimbledon tennis holding a walkie talkie high Viz saying yep all clear and never got challenged 😆😆🤭

Ahh a British Steve Wallis. You forgot to do the obligatory and extremely obvious "how well am I hidden?" walk around, where you expose yourself to the world in order to film your hidden campsite for us.
Just wondering, and maybe it's just me, are those shots, which literally everyone of these channels do, where they have to set a camera up and walk, then come back for the camera, then set up a forward camera face back help? I mean, that's like quadruple work for no reason. I just love the up close camaraderie with the guy. And meals. I don't know. Maybe I'm wrong. Just four times the amount of work for them as well as batteries. Not necessary for me. Love the videos either way.
The golf course I used to work at they would keep playing until they were kicked off the course,sometimes half past 10 at night lol

I've got a few woodlands and in the middle of one of them is a 17th\18th century graveyard no church just overgrown graves this can get very eerie through the day never mind the night it's in North yorkshire at the side of the moors your welcome to camp there
