I think Sharon gives the best tutorials because she explains every step of the way and that is very helpful to most of us. I just wanted to let you know that i absolutely, positively 100% appreciate and love what you do. Not many people who do tutorials take as much time as you do to really explain how to make such amazing projects. The brief hints and tips and words of encouragement really go a long way. This is my very first 3-D project and you are completely right it is a bit rough. But I love it regardless(it's a neon green and his name is Mr.Skittles). SIDE NOTE: if you are afraid of the stuffing showing, get some some nylons or "tights" that match and put the stuffing inside of the nylon. It will stop the stuffing from showing or falling out. This also adds to the longevity of your project. Best of luck and thanks foe the pattern!!

I learned some things I never knew -- because I'm still new to crochet. And you are the only one who explained in such detail. One is the trick with the marker, putting it between the stitch, and the other is when you get to the end of the row, remove the marker and crochet the last stitch of the row into where you removed the marker.
Also, when the project begins to curl, turn it, and THAT is the outside of the project. The starting point of the project, with the tail end of the yarn (not the working yarn, but the starting yarn) is actually the INSIDE of the project. I never knew that. I just always kept crocheting not realizing I needed to turn the project (inside out,).
thank you for being so explanatory in what you are doing. I'm learning a lot from you! Too bad this video is 5 years ago! I'd like to know where your other videos are, if you continued with instructional ones. :(

oh my goodness, lol that just made my heart burst! That is awesome news, I'm thrilled to hear it.. More yarn, yay! Arts and crafts and crocheting/knitting is the best way to burn off that extra energy and help the mind focus for sure. The best therapy in the world, in my opinion. Happy crocheting to your little girl :) Your comment meant the world to me, thank you!

I don’t usually comment, but i’ve watched a lot of crochet tutorials and this has to be the most comprehensive for me. The way you show how to count rows and chains is so good, i’m not an expert so i often mess up, but you were detailed exactly where it helped. Thank you!

Sharon you are the best tutor of all. So easy to follow. All steps explained and you give a stitch count at the end of each row.
Much appreciated. I hope I can find lots of toys and baby clothes on your channel.. Thanks for your tutorials and printed pattern on screen.

This is a fantastic video tutorial. I believe any questions I might have had were answered in the tutorial itself. This is a MUST for beginners and a great teacher/refresher for those of us that have been crocheting for a while. Details to the crocheting, stuffing, placements and attaching properly, as well as safety precautions are all covered. Many options are also offered. Well worth the time it takes to view and to follow the tutorial in it's entirety. This many compliments I will/can rarely give a video. Great job! The first of many videos I hope to see.

Started making one 3 days ago for my sister as she loves bears, this is the most easiest and more in-depth videos I’ve found on TH-cam!!! I’ve only just finished the body but I’m feeling positive about finishing this project, the last time I crochet was 2 years ago and this was a bit of a jump into the deep but I’ve almost made it!! Thank you so much🖤

I made my first Amigurumi teddy bear!! Now, of course, it isn’t perfect. I had trouble in some areas and it’s wonky in some areas (that’s ok because it gives it character I guess) but I am so glad that you had this tutorial up. You taught me how to read the patterns and gave awesome tips! Maybe once I get more experience, I’ll redo it to see the progress!

I haven't made this yet but was watching through before I attempted. I've made a few amigurumi now but not so great at tieing things off or at limb placement and attachment. As I watched you attach the arms I felt such a relief. I'm so glad I watched the video first because I would have gotten so frustrated trying to sew those on. I would never have thought to go out the back and then back in. Thank you!

Thank you so much for all your amazing patterns... I have made most of them, also with double thickness wool and larger hook. They are about one and half times bigger. For the eyes I did 2xdbl crochet in black, as you did for the toes, and that turned out great. I added a stitch in each eye with white wool. I'm thrilled with the results. Tried the Dragon too, love it. Thanks again Sharon. x

Curiosity bought me to this channel, I thought wow these are so cute, but they are probably to fiddley and small for me to have the patients it takes to learn something like this and usually instructions on youtube are not very good, because they are usually too fast to keep up and they don't show you fully what they are doing in some instances. You are possibly the best teacher by far for anything to do with crochet and instructions. I have never been able to understand a pattern before but now thanks to you and your patterns I am starting to get more confident using patterns. I still like the visual though....I am a visual person, monkey see monkey do....lol. You have a calming effect and a caring one which comes out in each of your videos. Thank you for sharing your wonderful patterns with us. I really appreciate the time and effort you put into these youtube videos. :)

I actually made this pattern. I made 5 little bears. I did not use this tutorial, I don't think it was up here when I made mine. Anyway, you are right; it took me forever, and by the time it came to assemble them, I was pretty much over that project. Also, I could never get the eyes in the right place. I also would say this is definitely NOT for beginners.
