I am watching this interview now with Mrs. Weiss. Yesterday, I watched Mrs. Weiss's interview with Anderson Cooper and searched for this interview to gain additional insight.

    So horrifying!
My father lost his wife and 4 small children.
He remarried my mother 20 years his junior who lost her whole family.
First time I hear a detailed description of what really happenned. They never told us. I started reading books after they passed!
    I want to cry!

The interviewer is so compassionate at the same time looks clearly horrified at what he is hearing. I am Czech not Jewish but absolutely heartbroken at what this poor lady and all other Jews had been put through. Unimaginable what a human is capable of doing to another. Thank you for sharing your story Irene. Wishing you love strength good health. So sorry about the loss of your story.❤️🍀

BaRuch HaShem. Blessings and Shalom to you Irene, to the Holocaust Museum staff/volunteers and May the memory of the countless millions (?) who perished be of blessed memory.
WOW, what vivid detailed accounts of your journey through darkness to survival. Your words encoded visual images and emotions where no photos could ever capture the essence of your experience. Thank you for sharing, for keeping the memory of the slain preserved and ensuring the world always remembers this great evil that we will never allow people/group to be systematically erased from humanity ever again. Thank you.

No one can fully understand what you and your family and so many more went through this horrible tragedy . I cried when I saw the two boys awaiting their fate unknowingly. May God bless you abundantly and thank you for sharing your testimony . ❤️🙏

Speaking up is so valuable. Without any diminishment of this dear lady's story. In our society, we must talk about difficult things. I know personally someone who was terribly abused as a child and her body is just broken. She tells her story whenever she can. She says, when asked why she is so crippled and yet so young, she says"I am a product of terrible child abuse". People are usually shocked but then her story is told.

The U.S.A had immigration quotas and other rules to limit who could enter this nation. Never forget our own bias and systemic discrimination . Anti Semitism is alive in this country . Hate starts as a small thing in a human beings mind . Be ever vigilant against injustice and exclusion .
