Nicely done! This makes loading birds easy and tossing more efficient. It's very tedious for me to basket a large number of birds for tossing. I need to figure out something quicker and more efficient. The positive side is I can feel the birds and inspect them when I put them in the basket "manually". Good luck with the road training!
Definitely, holding the birds by hand tells you a lot on how they feel, if you need to feed more or less, and they get used to you holding them. But during the day is nice to basket them quicker like this. Best of luck on your road training as well.

Absolutely! It's 19 miles to my house and that experience is very good for the birds.
