The ending where the king remembers the people who died sacrificing themselves so he can sit on that throne is so touching. It shows he will never forget the people who helped him get where he is at that moment... really a great way to end the drama.

IT HAS ENDED! I will miss those rollercoaster moments, although it did being quite slow in the middle, luckily the drama managed to pick up the pace and ended gracefully. Gonna miss our crown prince

Damn, i'm so grateful it had a happy ending. I was really scared Ga Eun would die there 🙈 Overall i would say, it was a pretty good drama. The chemistry between So Hyun & Seung Ho was great, it's just that the writers didn't really seem to know how exactly they wanted the story to turn out, so midway through the drama, it kinda turned into a little mess but other than that, i really enjoyed it. Especially uri #shyshycouple 😊

Damn. These 40 episodes (actually 20 episodes) have been one hella ride of emotional feelings. The action, drama, and romance. Many important characters died and made a sacrifice for the crown prince for him. At least he has Ga Eun by his side to help him along the way. This drama is one of the best historical dramas of this year. Yoo Seung Ho, Kim So Hyun, Kim Myung Soo (L), and Yoon Soo Hee fighting! They all did amazing in this drama! And all the supporting characters also did an amazing job as well!!❤️❤️❤️

ana pudding32 it is a beautiful wedding, I'm sad it just always shows them walking towards the throne and then being hailed at. In "Princess hours" it is much more detailed, although it is for the Crown Prince, but I guess it's the same for the king too. I just looove getting into details with korean culture, especially the Joseon Era! And yes, the "Queen hanbok" is just for the royal family, or, well, for the queen herself. Her hanbok has gold leaves/decoration and also has four circles with a dragon embroidered on each of them (symbol of power. The king also has them). Only the Queens (Grand Queen Dowager (Daewangdaebi-mama), Queen Dowager (Daebi-mama), the Queen Consort (jungjeon-mama)) and Crown Princess (Sejabin-mama) can have that kind of dress (note: the queens have dragons with five toes. The Crown princess only four. The same goes for the dragons of the king and the Crown Prince. I just love these little detailes!!! **squeals**). The princesses (daughters of the king) don't have dragons in the circles (some of them do but when they're older), but flowers or other decorations.
Also, on their chima (the skirt of the hanbok), Queens tend to have two lines of gold decoration while Princesses (including the crown princess) only have one.
For the concubines, they all have silver decorations on their hanbok, but it really depends on the drama. I don't know if history says the same, but if you watch Jang Ok Jung - Live in Love she definitely is the queen of alternative hanboks, while in Dong Yi she first wears silver and then silver with gold when she is promoted to Sukbin (Royal Consort of the 1st rank. Right below the Queen).
Last but not least their binyeos (the loooong hair stick women in the joseon Era wore when they were married. But only the royal family could (and could afford to) wear gold binyeos. The Queens had the Dragon binyeo, while princesses and concubines had the phoenix.
I'm soo sorry if I annoyed you with my little not so little lesson. I just love talking about every detail they had back then and their culture! I hope I made you even a little bit curious about it too!
