They hate it when you get yourself over, they want to be the ones responsible for that so if you're not getting a push it's hard to gain any momentum because if you try, it will pop, fans will love it...but sadly they'll take you off TV and put you down the card...terrible. I 100000% agree with Paul and support him for his decision, it became a very memorable and enjoyable rumble thanks to him
Went to a house show in Burlington, Vermont I believe in 2004 with my brother. Paul London was one of the only wrestlers who came outside after the show to talk to fans. He signed our tickets and chatted for a while. Really awesome guy! And if you are reading this by some chance, thank you for that Paul. Almost 20 years later and my brother and I still talk about it.
The fact that they say his elimination took away from the other ones and rather than telling other people to step their game up they punish him is crazy
I liked Paul's mini rant about the ridiculousness how they have guys avoid being eliminated now. it was cool when John Morrison first did it. then Kofi did a few cool moments. but now it's like okay if they can do that, then every guy should land on one foot to avoid being eliminated.
I think Paul should be proud that he got approval by the guy who created the Royal Rumble. If the creator gives you props for improving his creation, wear that like a medal
WWE is weird Franchise man. One guy tries to do the best with what little he is given and gets heat.

Can somebody pay Rene's electrical bill so he can keep the lights on.

Somehow not surprised to hear Jericho had an ego problem back then too. Dude really needs to get over himself at some point

"Stop trying to get other people over!"
"How dare you do better than we expected!"
It's crazy he got so much heat for the best flip at a royal rumble ever.
Paul london did a great job on that spot.
