For Trauma, I think their focus on the lyrics and performance. The song was kinda flat? it gives the dark and repetitive vibe to it that fits the story. How the trauma keeps coming back, and endless nightmare kind of thing.
And how the intro and outro was made to caught you off guard. It's like it symbolised ones vulnerability

Classical ears tend to be different than the average ear,so alot of the songs we love (i.e, traume, 24/7, etc) are pretty underwhelming for them. We love them anyway! ❤ its cool seeing different perspectives and mentalities!

I have a soft spot for acoustic songs so Wait is everything to me😭
Musically, I prefer Wait to Trauma. Andreas Oberg on the guitar in Wait is immediately what caught my attention. Not to take for granted EXO's vocals, but I personally paid more attention to the background things that occasionally happened. Speaking of vocal support, I have to give this song specifically to Kai. His tone is one we do not get much from, but gradually we are.
As far as Trauma, there was nothing music wise that stood out to me. The rap breaks between Chanyeol and Sehun were in my opinion the most interesting parts in that song. Similar to what Umu said when speaking about Trauma, it doesn't really give them room to work with anything, considering it stays in one generalized key; before the rap break I talked about previously. As far as who stood out, I would give this one to Chanyeol. His rap came in at a point where I thought the song would have ended; especially after that pause occurred.

When they were talking over Wait at the start of the song, I was like, "No! Stop talking and listen to the music!!". I was just listening to it before watching this video and reading something at the same time, and I literally stopped reading when the good parts came on. The beauty of Wait is in its simplicity. I hope the acoustic section of EXO's concerts comes back. It was a lovely, intimate experience with EXO.

Hey! I'm just saying, but if you guys ever wanted to check out J-pop, you should try Perfume!
They're well in the running to perform at Tokyo 2020 as their live shows are easily one of the most impressive for any J-pop artist. They probably eat special effects every day for breakfast.
Also, their song Polyrhythm(2007) is what kick-started their major success and BOY does it live up to its title. I'd love seeing you guys flip out listening to it. You could also check out Future Pop, their most recent comeback (September 2018).

Just my opinion. I think u guys better listen to songs twice bcos maybe yall missed something on certain parts when ur talking. On the first listen session, u guys can listen and please no talking. On the scnd part, u guys can do listen to that song and tell them everything about the vocals..intrumental...or whatever it is. Bcos people.will find it annoying
wait literally made my heart so happy... i essentially used it as a lullaby for awhile because it's so peaceful
