- Well what can I say, after the live stream the night before this session made up for it! The day started off very wet and windy but turned out to be lovely and warm. We headed to Sandy point to use up the bait from the night before over low tide, you can only fish this venue at low tide up to 2 hours before and after. We was into fish from the very first cast until the last almost! What a cracking little day time session. Sandy point is really good during the summer months! Can’t say I’ve really tried it in the winter though

What reel did you use mate?
Great video, would you say flat fish like dabs or plaice are common around hayling island?
You do get them yes but they aren’t as common as they used to be. If you head down during the day using ragworm tipped with squid you could pull one out

I was happy with that session, not bad for 3 hours and 1 rod!
Wittering road is the closest by the marina
