Why don't you make them vertical? It's much better for the phase alignment between woofer and tweeter - and less midrange dip (when moving listening postion from side to side) than when they're horizontal. And how many people have an analog mixing desk these days? It makes MUCH more sense to make speakers that take up less desk real-estate.

I use them vertical and don't give a s*it about the looks. They sound much better vertical
