try listening to few song and see if they are like the song you want to do and just change the lyrics and change the tune slightly
write in different keys...don't stick to piano or an acoustic guitar, creative rhythm generates good hooks, just listen to Peter Gabriel, or 80's Genesis, it's frequently built up from just rhythm. 2 examples are "Me & Sarah Jane" & "Duchess", both are masterpieces that started from Phil Collin's 808..
Is it me or is it anyone else who can always think of a beat but never lyrics and vice versa? that always happens to me

Totally agree on Evernote. I've been using Evernote for like 8 years and love it. I've done so much songwriting and demoing with it.

It's pretty good but there are some corrections in the grammar which can be easily fixed
It sounds nice but what is “you are change” exactly referencing to? You don’t go back to it through the song

Great tools if you need something to get you going, but I've always come to write sessions with ideas, hooks, and lyrics and music ready to present. I was in a session and something similar was tried, but natural talent prevailed. These apps, can be great for getting your ideas down and organized. Good video! Thx

If you want a metronome app, I subject downloading Pulse. For one, you can get much more dynamic time signatures, such as 6/8 and 9/8. Also, you can tap the screen to figure out the bpm of a song you have heard or are writing. It’s a very useful app that I highly recommend.

I think the "ultimate" song writing software and learning tool to improve your skill level of your chosen instrument and also can be used as a digital audio workstation (DAW) is Band in a Box. Although it is costly to originally purchase I have found it so useful in so many areas of songwriting, learning, trying out ideas, and recording finished tracks.

What is the best app to record a piano?? (a real piano) I used TAKE and had a very decent sound recording... you had a default mastering before you upload it and sounded pretty good; but now you can´t use that app anymore (it's gone)... So now I tried Bandlab and sounds like shit.... which one gives you the best sound recording?? (from an iphone) help
