As a language and culture nerd, this was such an awesome idea. Even if it’s one guy sadly singing in a semi-dead language, people all over the world unite for a common cause. It’s sad to see all this effort gone in vain under Stalin’s rule. Unfortunately, the situation in communist Poland, my home country, was way off from the ideas of Marxist internationalism and mutual cooperation, and even the notion of internationalism will be forever stained by the Stalinist regime.
I love this version so much, the distinctness in all the parts are absolutely beautiful, truly shows the diverse variety of the world. Some of them are sang by one single person without any melody, some by a group of children, some by a choir, while the rest are orchestral & epic. Being possibly the most translated song of all time, Internationale truly is one song to unite us all.

where is our kazakh or mali international?
it was red to begin with
@@maybellx3 they get *slightly* redder each time an unrelated language plays like hindu or sth

and there isnt any part where they sing internationale in kazakh or turkmeni or something
same for africa, central america, somalia and eritrea, and hispaniola(haiti and the dominican republic which is in the carribean sea)

Same with Central America
10:22 I am stunned at how some languages could be so identical that they are two dialects from the same language. For example, Myanmar and Wikang Tagalog. Also I learnt that we wrongly put all blame on US for Capitalism or Imperialism, but Spain and Portugal are the ones with true mighty pioneers in that aspect, by looking how numerous countries with --Spanish or --Portuguese.
You know, this gives me hope things will one day gey better. Hope that the proletarian struggle will one day truly transcend borders and build a new world from the ashes of the old.

10:30 Little did they know that the Bataknese version of the Internationale was recorded in a pub. So in conclusion the people we're probably singing this we're drunk.
The international sung by drunks is surprisingly amusing
In 3:16 there is writing something on Turkiye it says ''O ne lan''
That translates to "What is that" but most turkish people use it as "What the frick"
At 10:30 minutes there is singing a song in Batak language, but on the map it is located in Timor Leste. In fact, the Batak language used by the Batak tribe in Indonesia is located in North Sumatra, Indonesia
Timor-Leste was already *secretly* highlighted during Wobzi Khrozykhabs and Chakhar Mongolian. Batak didn't highlight anything.
I am glad that I was born in a country that was the first and greatest communist country. It is a pity that in the 90s, due to internal and external factors, it ceased to exist, and the current government is trying to slander communism and the leaders of communism, but nevertheless, I hope that one day communism will return to our country, and after that all the peoples of the world will unite and eternal peace will come

Communism would never work look at all the socialist and communist countries they create the exact thing the swear to destroy The inequality of the unequal savings whereas free enterprise (capitalism) is making everybody richer the first, middle and the third class are all benefiting the only reason the rich are rich is because they spend smart they invest instead of saying men can be women
@@RandomRothbardian you cannot say what lgbt trash propaganda have something similar with socialism.
Capitalism is always about unequal. Read "Capital" of Carl Marx.

i'm surprised that they transliterated "internationale" into Yiddish and Hebrew instead of translating it

The iceland one got me 💀
As a Québécois, I’m proud of seeing my mother tongue close this wonderful song. Thank you, et vive l’Internationale!
Moi qui pensais qu’on était inconnu du reste du monde
Good stuff, but I'd be lying if I said the Khmer version didn't give me the creeps, and the Quechua version didn't sound like the last man on earth singing it.
My version of the song:
Stand up, people of the nation.
Arise, workers without tire.
This old way of living is crushing us,
a new truth, we do desire.
Our old life, we will soon stray from.
But we shan't do it alone.
So I must say, my comrades,
help us fight against our bones.
This is the very final fight,
a fight to determine it all!
The International,
will make us sure, that we don't fall.
This is the final battle,
the day of reckoning has come!
The International,
will show us what we become!
(can't wait for this to be bashed immediately)
Not bashing it. It's genuinely awesome. Good work!
Товарищи, настанет время когда мы избавимся от своих цепей и обретём мир без вражды и войн!

11:22 - Binisaya na Waray: Kay mamuno sa mga sakop (will rule the subjects)
I'm a Cebuano speaker learning Waray and Hiligaynon and I actually understand it.
3:24 noone of us Italian sing it recently?
I just imagine a cosmic boss fight were the last soviet robot after years of non functioning is reactivated to try to save earth from an alien that as overpowered him and before is system crash for good he go on every radio one by one and what he hear is the international sing by every human on earth giving him the final boost to kill is enemies and win the day
The people from Iceland were just not having it.
It was probably a school project they HAD to do. ;)
It sounded like bar (or pub )
As a language and culture nerd, this was such an awesome idea. Even if it’s one guy sadly singing in a semi-dead language, people all over the world unite for a common cause. It’s sad to see all this effort gone in vain under Stalin’s rule. Unfortunately, the situation in communist Poland, my home country, was way off from the ideas of Marxist internationalism and mutual cooperation, and even the notion of internationalism will be forever stained by the Stalinist regime.
what
Fun fact.
People watching this video are waiting for their country's turn. :)
Literally
My country is number 139
my french ass: 👁👄👁
My country doesn't have a version of this (it just smoothly turned red)
Mines 124
I love this version so much, the distinctness in all the parts are absolutely beautiful, truly shows the diverse variety of the world. Some of them are sang by one single person without any melody, some by a group of children, some by a choir, while the rest are orchestral & epic. Being possibly the most translated song of all time, Internationale truly is one song to unite us all.
Toki Pona translation: I feel the same as a volcano because rich people are still here
Shona/ChiShona translation (you didnt include my boy Shona): rudzi rwevanhu rwepasi rose (The world's human race)
Those are the 2 languages I speak that weren't included
It just brings hope that in all parts of the world, some people are longing for the same political goals. Peace. Equality. Justice. Freedom. As long as there are people wishing to build outside of nations, we may not be doomed.
Comrades! Let's spread this anthem to all languages! We will unite them under the banner of revolution!
